1) Those are not his "own words". He is reading something that there is NO WAY he has written. He doesn't even go off script. THAT is NOT Trump.

IT's more than a flaw. He is manipulating Christians with messages like this but with actions that 100% belie anything close to Christ's message.

It's a hollow empty message coming from him.

It's what I can hope for but honestly, I could see it being really REALLY REALLY hard to own up to realizing the con.

Honestly though, I think people realize it earlier but don't want to change what they're doing because that is kind of error is an extreme vulnerability...and nobody wants to be seen like that. I don't think the left's response to trump voters admitting thier mistakes and regretting it is overly beneficial as they dump on them pretty hard.

I understand the frustration in hearing these stories of regret and I feel it too, but the most important thing is what happens move forward. What did they LEARN from their mistake. What will be done differently.

As far as the speaker goes, he is sinking. Sinking in the polls. Sinking in the eyes of the world. Sinking into a quagmire of sin and depravity. Trying (not entirely successfully) to drag many of his decreasing numbers of supporters with him.

Trump has harnessed the truly real power of Faith for his own ends. Of course people of faith love that. Many would still like to be more like Trump than Someone Else. They’ll be okay. They’re still good people. (Hard watching it happen though)
