Specify the problem with Biden. Trump sells gold coins and gold basketball shoes etc. Biden sells ________". What was Joe Biden hawking while in office?
I think one of the best examples -- the claim by Republicans was that Hunter Biden was selling "access" to his father; this is what so many got so upset about. Of course, despite the claims by people like Congressperson Comey, there was never any evidence of it; at most some circumstantial evidence. Those who actually had direct knowledge, such as Devon Archer, states that it didn't happen despite calls that Hunter may have had with his father with business partners present.
By contrast, we have the "Executive Branch," a private club started by Don, Jr. right after his father won re-election in 2025. There appears to be evidence that a key purpose of the club is to sell access to the President, though I'm not sure what hard evidence of that exists. Of course, no actual investigating is being done since 1) the Justice Department is controlled by Trump and 2) no one in Congress cares if access to Pres. Trump is being sold. And this is ignoring, even in Trump's first term, that Mar-a-Lago memberships were largely being sold as having access to the President.
Secondly, we have some evidence that Trump merch isn't the only thing being sold at the White House, but that pardons are for sell, as well. We even have evidence of Giuliani saying that it was $2 million to buy a pardon, with Giuliani and Trump sharing that $2 million. Now, I'll agree that Trump supporters claim this is Giuliani doing it without Trump's knowledge but we keep seeing evidence (even if circumstantial) of people apparently paying (even if just to a Trump controlled fund) for pardons.
Last, there is this odd coincidence of stock being purchased in various companied right before they are awarded big government contract. In some cases it is Trump family members and at other times it is Trump himself. Now, Trump's spokesperson has claimed that Trump doesn't know anything about this, that these types of decisions are made by money managers that Trump hasn't communicated with -- other than the fact that some of the stock transactions have Trump's signature -- that he personally is the one that made the stock purchases.
So, yes, the evidence of these are not as strong but these would appear, if true, to clearly be corruption.
