Alabama has always been was in the path of the hurricane.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on Friday disavowed a tweet from the National Weather Service's Birmingham, Alabama, office that had contradicted President Donald Trump's false assertion that Hurricane Dorian was likely to hit the state.

This is what makes Donald's behaviour reprehensible:

Earlier in the week, Dorian killed at least 30 people in the Bahamas and left the island nation utterly devastated. The death toll there is expected to rise in the coming days, as hundreds are missing.
But while hundreds of thousands of Americans were evacuating from their homes and Bahamians were attempting to survive one of the worst storms to ever hit the island, the President has continued to attempt to prove that he wasn't wrong when he falsely said the storm was headed for Alabama.

According to U.S. Code Title 18, “Whoever knowingly issues or publishes any counterfeit weather forecast or warning of weather conditions falsely representing such forecast or warning to have been issued or published by the Weather Bureau, United States Signal Service, or other branch of the Government service, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ninety days, or both.”

In other words, showcasing weather trajectories that are wrong is a federal offense.

What's a tempter tantrum? My point, again missed, is that, the info he had in front of him showed what it showed. If you see the predictions he was going off of, you would see that he was right. Of course, the latest info would have been better, but so what? He either didn't receive it in a timely manner, someone showed him old info, or whatever.

Jesse, you've missed the point entirely. Donald Trump prioritized his hubris over the lives of human beings. He's not just the fellow who used to be on the cover of Playboy magazine or the host of an insipid reality show. He's meant to actually be the Commander in Chief and give a rat's rear about this country. He's shown repeatedly that he cares more about his ego getting a boo boo than lives being lost, being at risk. It is not defensible behavior & folks trying to defend it just make the whole thing sillier.
