Why are you bringing this red herring up again, when it has been so thoroughly debunked in this thread? To give you a brief reminder -- that letter never states that it was Obama that kept them there. Instead, I provided links (including from the US Air Force website) stating that it is NARA storing the documents there -- that NARA packed them up from the White House, NARA had the military move the records to Chicago (to the so-called "Insecure Storage", which isn't insecure) so that the records can be digitized for the Obama Library, and then will be returned to permanent storage in Washington, D.C.

Trump never kept them away from the FBI. So I don't think he even cares about getting them back. Trump even offered the documents to the FBI and they told Trump to just simply secure the office. This is nothing but political theater so nothing will come of it. Speaking of political theater, have you heard of anything back about the Jan 6th committee hearings? I seriously have not spent one-minute paying attention to it. So I wonder if they got the goods on Trump and why nothing has been done about it.

The next one is on Wed Sept 28. Ginni Thomas has agreed to an interview with the Jan 6th committee, but it is not known if any of her testimony will be featured. Supposedly some new info will be presented along with a review of previous findings.

Because he's playing you. He says he's done nothing wrong but won't get his lawyers to swear to that. And he never will. Because he wants you to think he's the aggrieved party. Just like he did with the election. And when that went to court, no evidence was given that it had been stolen. Because there was none.

Now he's doing his best to rally his supporters by saying one thing to you via the media but refusing to say it in court. And people are falling for it hook, line and sinker. He can even tell you that if he thinks about material being unclassified it magically happens. Just like that. He could tell you anything and you'd believe it. Straight up, tbere's nothing so nonsensical that he could say that wouldn't be treated as the solid gold truth by the majority of those who voted for him.

I've not seen anything remotely like this in any political context in any country in the last half century. It's immensely depressing.

All he declassified got a declassification stamp within 48 hours, so are the rules (source).

If there is a document in Mar-a-Lago that has no declassification stamp we know it has not been declassified under Trump's presidency. Maybe it was never classified, maybe Biden declassified it while it was in Trump's desk (or basement, or whatsoever) and could therefore not stamped - but it was not declassified by Trump.

No, Obama did not keep his documents there. Instead, former Pres. Obama turned his documents over to the National Archives (NARA), as the law requires, and NARA rented out and secured a former furniture store to temporarily house the documents while they made copies and prepared everything for the Obama library. And, you'll notice that the article states, as NARA also has stated, that Obama turned over all his Presidential documents and records when he left office, as the Presidential Records Act requires.

Please keep serious. When a mob runs into the parliament, hoping to steal the election from Biden, shouting they will hang the vice president just because he keeps to the law and the constitution - this is a threat to democracy. And Trump is the core of that threat.
