He pardoned Bannon who (allegedly) stole money Trump supporters gave to build the wall.

Trump promises that Mexico will pay for the wall. That didn't happen, so Bannon looks to Trump supporters to pay instead. Then, Bannon steals the money they give.

trump probably wants bannon to help him build a new political party. Cause that teamwork worked out so well the first time.

That makes sense. "Trumpian sense" that is.

Just as a reference point. Obama pardoned some 60-some people on his last day. I doubt you will recognize any of their names. Drug offenses, embezzlement, 10 counts of altering an odometer. No doubt some of them are favors of some sort, but not obviously self-serving ones and not ones that erode American national security.

Trump's last-minute pardons include Bannon, Lil Wayne and scores of others

But several controversial names do appear, including Steve Bannon, who has pleaded not guilty to charges he defrauded donors in a "We Build the Wall" online fundraising campaign.

Other names included Tuesday were Elliott Broidy, a former top fundraiser for Trump's campaign who pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy relating to a secret lobbying campaign to influence the Trump administration on behalf of a foreign billionaire in exchange for millions of dollars.

Trump also offered clemency to Paul Erickson, the conservative political operative and ex-boyfiend of alleged Russian spy Maria Butina, who pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering charges; Robin Hayes, a North Carolina political donor convicted of trying to bribe officials

and Aviem Sella, an Israeli air force officer who the US accused of being a spy.

link2

Among those pardoned by Trump, who campaigned on draining the swamp, were two former Republican congressmen: Randy “Duke” Cunningham of California, released in 2013 from imprisonment for a bribery conviction, and Rick Renzi of Arizona, who was convicted the same year of charges including bribery, money laundering and racketeering. Trump pardoned three other former Republican congressmen in December, including California Rep. Duncan Hunter.

Moments after granting clemency to his political allies, Trump issued an executive order rescinding the ethics rules he put in place upon taking office four years ago under which administration officials were barred from working as lobbyists for five years after leaving government.

Spies, bribery, foreign influence in elections, sham ethics. Gross.

That first link has all of Obama's 8 years of pardons. You will not find bribery, elections, espionage, foreign, anywhere in the list.

Anyone want to take a guess how many rioters of the sixth of january will be among the pardoned?

My guess would be a non-non-zero amount.
Trump encouraged them and said he is right there with them. Then he abandoned them and threw them under the bus,

Trump pardons his elite millionaire "friends" who have either protected him, championed him donated lots of money or will be in a position in future to payback in kind.
Plebs that supported him get nothing.
Case in point
Steve Bannon stole from the plebs who donated to the wall.
Steve gets a pardon
Supporters went into the Capitol on Trump's command, they get prison and/or criminal records.

Just like every president. Zzzzzzzz
I love how Trump supporters say Trump was so different, but whenever he does something truly corrupt, they claim he is like every other president. They truly are asleep.

Except there’s nothing corrupt about the pardons. Nice try. Next.....

Does Bannon get to keep his stolen "build the wall" money?
Presumably so.
And the people that supported building a wall, and donated money to build the wall are also the people that defend Trump in pardoning the person that stole their money. LOL

With less than an hour left in his presidency, President Trump has issued a full pardon to Albert Pirro, Jr -- Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro's ex-husband. Albert Pirro was convicted of conspiracy & tax evasion charges in 2000

See Trump is the Law and Order president.
His friends and families don't need to worry about Law and Order

Man who had jail sentence commuted by Trump arrested again

A New Jersey Ponzi scheme architect, whose 24-year prison sentence was commuted [after serving less than 8] by then-President Donald Trump in 2021, has been arrested again Wednesday on charges he defrauded investors by making false promises involving humanitarian supplies destined for Ukraine.

Eliyahu Weinstein and four other men were charged with conspiring to defraud 150 individual investors of more than $35 million and with conspiracy to obstruct justice, according to federal prosecutors in New Jersey.

[ABC found earlier this year that ~5% of Trump's pardon recipients have faced legal trouble or conviction since.]

"President Trump bypassed the formal and orderly Justice Department process in favor of an informal and fairly chaotic White House operation, relying in some cases on his personal views and in others on recommendations from people he knew or who gained access to him in various ways," said Margaret Love, a lawyer who represents clients seeking pardons and a former U.S. Pardon Attorney, a Justice Department appointee who helps advise presidents on grants of clemency.

I think this is the second if not third person who Trump has pardoned who quickly a re-offender.

Based on the statistic in the post prior to yours, at least 10 are now having legal issues and/or had convictions on new crimes.
