Most Americans approve of President-elect Donald Trump’s handling of his administration’s transition back into the White House — and are bullish about the next four years, a new poll shows.

A sizeable 59% of Americans support his moves so far, as he angles to stack up his next administration with “disrupters,” while 41% disapprove, according to the CBS News/YouGov survey.

Health and Human Services Secretary-designate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. drew the most positive reactions from poll respondents, with 47% ranking him as a “good” pick compared to 34% saying he was “not good.

I don't want this, I want hear more horror stories about how intensely apocalyptic it's going to be.
We still have to make it to Trump's inauguration without Biden getting us into a nuclear war.

Even as he bumbles in and out of jungle foliage; we're still in danger.

Yes, let us hope he doesn't try to make a grand exit.

Just be patient and you can experience it for yourself. That's the part I'm looking forward to.

What’s that got to do with the price of tea in China?
It says “other religion,” but he also stated he was an Episcopalian. Again, not that it matters.

Consumers Make Sudden U-Turn, Voice Concern About the Economic Future

The boost in the mood of U.S. consumers after the election turned out to be short-lived as confidence about the future health of the economy declined in December, The Conference Board said on Monday. The organization’s consumer confidence index showed an 8.1-point decline to 104.7. Expectations that proposed tariffs on imported goods from the incoming Trump administration will raise prices for consumers appeared to be among the reasons for the drop in confidence.

The present situation index – a measure of how consumers feel about the current economy – fell 1.2 points to 140.2. The expectations index – a forward-looking assessment of the short-term outlook for income, business and labor market conditions – tumbled 12.6 points to 81.1. That puts it barely above the 80 threshold that often signals an impending recession.

We're finally seeing the Trump effect, it seems, especially after the near-shutdown.

It kind of does. I've been a "Christ-denying, Bible hating commie" since before the first Trump administration and am used to it. But now things have changed. Trump is back in office, Roe v. Wade is already gone and it looks like he has a handle on the trans stuff. MAGA really doesn't need to acknowledge Roman Catholics as "real" Christians any more.

Odd since Vance is a devout Catholic convert.

Besides which, Trump can’t “fire” Vance in favor of Musk since the latter isn’t eligible to hold the Office.

He’ll go down as one of the BEST presidents in history!
By his supporters he already is and literally could never be any less.

By people of note who have extensive knowledge of all the other presidents, their policies and outcomes, against which he could be fairly judge, he is currently consider bottom 3.

So I'll say he has a lot of catching up to do
