Well, if God was apathetic towards what man would do, then it is logical that his creation woud mirror that, too. But you believe you are better because you love knowing that nothing you can ever do matters in regards to salvation? There is none good but God. He is the source of love and all that is good. I am nothing. Christ is everything. It is Christ that saves both in Justification and in Sanctification.

You also cannot play the righteous card here, because you admitted that Galatians is saying you are found a sinner (Which means you are not in obedience to God's laws).

No truly born again person could possibly be apathetic towards God, or sin happily without conscience. It is not possible, and that is certainly true if they know the penalty of sin is removed from their life. If you have not been truly born again that may not be true, but if you have it is.

But Matthew 6:15 defeats this viewpoint, though. Jesus could ONLY be speaking to believers and not unbelievers. And as far as I know, his command here has not been abrogated elsewhere in the New Testament.

There are people who honestly want to serve and love God. Yet they also want to hold onto their sin, too. They want to serve two masters. But Jesus says one cannot serve two masters, for they will hate the one and love the other.

What do you make of Matthew 13:41-42? It says,

"The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire"

From my understanding "iniquity" would be "sin." And Christ is going to gather those in HIS Kingdom (by his angels) all who do iniquity or sin out of his kingdom and cast them into fire (i.e. hell). For...

"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie." (Revelation 22:14-15).

I do have a desire to love God and to forgive and do great things for His Kingdom. I do this naturally because God has changed me. But if I knew before I was born again that God did not care about what I did in regards to salvation, then I would not have cared, either. But I know such is not the reality of the Bible, though. God does cares in what I do here.

Oh but God does care about what you do, that is why he sent his Holy Spirit to make you born again Jason. But I think you are trying to deflect away from what you wrote. If you love God with all your heart, you would not need the penalty of sin to make you want to obey, that is a plain fact

You are too hung up on the literal letter, so are the sda. Jesus teaching can be summed up as love God and love your neighbour, as Paul knew therefore:
Carry each others burdens(love them) and so fulfil the law of Christ Gal6:2

If the emboldened is correct, why do you only seek to obey through fear of the penalty for sin? Does love offend the person it loves?
Again, you do not understand the process Jason. When a truly born again believer sins their conscience is seered as with a hot iron. Why? For the law has been placed on their heart. I really do wish you could spend time reflecting on what that actually means

Well, I am not a part of the Seventh Day Adventists nor any other church brand name. I am non-denominational as my statement profile says in each of my posts. The SDA Church believes in keeping the Sabbath for salvation. I do not believe that. I also imagine some of them are confused on the topic of salvation, too. Works are not man directed but they are God directed. Christ works in the believer to do of His good will and pleasure. So we cannot boast or take the credit in anything we do.
