If such were true, I would just think about God on rare occasions and be okay with that
The idea you can love God with all your heart, but at the same time go out and happily sin as much as you want if you know the penalty for sin has been removed from you is frankly ridiculous. It just is not possible. Love does not offend the person you loveWell, if God was apathetic towards what I would do, then it is logical that his creation woud mirror that, too. But you believe you are better because you love knowing that nothing you can ever do matters in regards to salvation? There is none good but God. He is the source of love and all that is good. I am nothing. Christ is everything. It is Christ that saves both in Justification and in Sanctification.
You also cannot play the righteous card here, because you admitted that Galatians is saying you are found a sinner (Which means you are not in obedience to God's laws).

No truly born again person could possibly be apathetic towards God, or sin happily without conscience. It is not possible, and that is certainly true if they know the penalty of sin is removed from their life. If you have not been truly born again that may not be true, but if you have it is.
You are talking of what you don't understand Jason. You also cannot play the righteous card here, because you admitted that Galatians is saying you are found a sinner (Which means you are not in obedience to God's laws).

What do I think? What do you make of Matthew 13:41-42? It says,
"The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire"
From my understanding "iniquity" would be "sin." And Christ is going to gather those in HIS Kingdom (by his angels) all who do iniquity or sin out of his kingdom and cast them into fire (i.e. hell). For...
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie." (Revelation 22:14-15).

But you see Jason, if you in your heart love God and your neighbour, why do you need to look at such a literal statement? You would automatically forgive themBut Matthew 6:15 defeats this viewpoint, though. Jesus could ONLY be speaking to believers and not unbelievers. And as far as I know, his command here has not been abrogated elsewhere in the New Testament.

Read the chapter I put up Jason if you want the answer. If you don't read it, don't ask the question for you refuse to know the answerYeah, then explain it to me. How can you be found a sinner and yet also say that a believer is characterized as being born again by obedience (i.e. by not abiding in all kinds of horrible sins)?

Read the chapter I put up Jason if you want the answer. If you don't read it, don't ask the question for you refuse to know the answer
I repeat, the chapter shows how sin is to be overcome
I do have a desire to love God and to forgive and do great things for His Kingdom. I do this naturally because God has changed me. But if I knew before I was born again that God did not care about what I did in regards to salvation, then I would not have cared, either.

Then if you are telling the truth, you know the man ends the chapter being freed from alcohol addiction, foul language, stealing and constant affairs. So why are you so upset with it? bNo, thanks. I know what it says already.

Then I guess God did not need to give us a Bible then to say these words for us. If such is the case, then what use is there for the Bible then?
....
Oh but God does care about what you do, that is why he sent his Holy Spirit to make you born again Jason. But I think you are trying to deflect away from what you wrote. If you love God with all your heart, you would not need the penalty of sin to make you want to obey, that is a plain fact
If the emboldened is correct, why do you only seek to obey through fear of the penalty for sin? Does love offend the person it loves?Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. I know the Spirit transforms a person's heart and spirit and gives them new desires and to love God. Please do not insult me that I do not believe that. But God also allows us to retain our free will, too. We are not mindless love obeying robots. Yes, true believers are changed spiritually, but if they go back to sinning, they will simply become carnal again.

You are too hung up on the literal letter, so are the sda. Jesus teaching can be summed up as love God and love your neighbour, as Paul knew therefore:
Carry each others burdens(love them) and so fulfil the law of Christ Gal6:2
