Looking4joy, sorry that you're going through such a difficult time. Think we want saved and sinless but it's not going to happen while we're on this earth. Yet we can't use that as a reason to sin. We have to remember that no matter our sin, they're not above or greater than - Yeshua and His sacrifice. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I John 1:9; + Matt 6:12. Not only does He forgive you, He forgets about your confessed sins (I John 1:9 and Rom 10:9-10) Since He knows everything, it means He doesn't hold them against you (Rom 4:8).

Encourage you to ask Yahweh to forgive you for hating yourself because when Yeshua talks about the two greatest commandments, He says "...Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Mark 12:29-31 As ourselves - so we're to love ourselves, have a healthy attitude about ourselves. We can do this with Yahweh's overwhelming help (Philippians 4:13). We need to keep our focus on Him and His Word. When those thoughts come that are not in agreement with Scripture, we aren't to continue to think that way (II Cor 10:5) but begin to think on what Scripture says (Rom 12:2) such as "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Isa 26:3; "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God." Eph 3:19

-Yahweh made you in His own image (Gen 1:27)
-He heals your broken heart (Psa 34:18).
-Yahweh loves you with an everlasting love (John 3:16-17)
-"But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered." Luke 12:7 (which are constantly changing)
-Yeshua said - "I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." ---- has loved them, as thou hast loved me. Wow!

I'm afraid. I've confessed my sins to God, and told Him I need His help in getting through this and to bring me out of sin.

All I know is troubled times. I hate myself and I just need God to help me. I'm crying right now. I can't think of more to say.

God loves us in spite of our flaws and failings. He knew what He was getting into when He saved us, and He isn't afraid of it. To be delivered out of sin, we have to truly repent. 2 Corinthians 7:10 talks about godly sorrow which leads to repentance and worldly sorrow which leads to death. Worldly sorrow is like when your parents catch you sneaking out of the house and punish you. You tell them you're sorry and you may be sorry but for the wrong reasons. Maybe you're sorry for doing it because you got punished, or you feel guilty and ashamed for getting caught. However, in the back of your heart you are willing to do it again. Godly sorrow leads to repentance because it is the kind of sorrow which motivates you to change on the inside. It is not a half-hearted I'm sorry (but you're leaving the door open in your heart to do it again), it is a deep conviction in your spirit to want to please God and never grieve His Spirit. You feel horrible about your sin because you have transgressed against a holy God who loves you and gave everything for you. Your love and your godly fear of Him causes a heart change because you realize the gravity of your sin against Him. I found a good sermon which really illustrates this whole process:

Hope it blesses you brother. Stay in prayer and trust God will grant you repentance

A troubled mind ? Situation not withstanding who tells you you sin? Self? Somebody else? Either way you grab onto that thought and like a puppy with a scent up its nose & all else is forgotten except that thought/scent put into your head by self or somebody else. There is no God in condemnation brother. Try living in this thought God is love 1 John 4:16 now re-translate 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 where charity/love is God in the moment every moment. In the moment thinking under those verses negates one from seeking sin and opens the door for Galatians 5:22-23.

If a human is telling you you sin and there is no escape then it is up to you to enclose your mind that they live in a mind of judgment . Duality is our nature and it stems from judgment. Look at Geneses 1:2-4. Because God judged the light as good by default of our duality "we alone" judged the darkness to fill the silence of God. Need some NT to back that? John 8:11. "Neither do I condemn you"  brother. Self combats self in duality. Just something to pray over brother for truth.

Here is something to think about. Scripture says that God's wisdom is not just far superior that ours, but INFINITELY SUPERIOR. He knew you before you were born. Which means he knew all the sins you were going to make before he created you. But guess what? He created you and loves you anyway. There is nothing that catches him off guard. There is absolutely nothing that you have done that surprised him.

Ever feel like God was testing you? Have you ever felt like you failed him? Why do you think he put you through a test? It wasn't for him to see if you would pass or fail. He knew if you were going to pass or fail from the beginning. The test was for you to learn about yourself. You are put through tests and trials in order to learn about yourself in order to grow and mature. That way you can be complete. So don't ever feel like you failed God. That is impossible to do. I hope this helps. You are in my prayers.
