Looking4joy, sorry that you're going through such a difficult time. Think we want saved and sinless but it's not going to happen while we're on this earth. Yet we can't use that as a reason to sin. We have to remember that no matter our sin, they're not above or greater than - Yeshua and His sacrifice. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I John 1:9; + Matt 6:12. Not only does He forgive you, He forgets about your confessed sins (I
John 1:9 and Rom 10:9-10) Since He knows everything, it means He doesn't hold them against you (Rom 4:8).
Encourage you to ask Yahweh to forgive you for hating yourself because when Yeshua talks about the two greatest commandments, He says "...Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Mark 12:29-31
As ourselves - so we're to love ourselves, have a healthy attitude about ourselves. We can do this with Yahweh's overwhelming help (Philippians 4:13). We need to keep our focus on Him and His Word. When those thoughts come that are not in agreement with Scripture, we aren't to continue to think that way (II Cor 10:5) but begin to think on what Scripture says (Rom 12:2) such as "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Isa 26:3; "And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God." Eph 3:19
-Yahweh made you in His own image (Gen 1:27)
-He heals your broken heart (Psa 34:18).
-Yahweh loves you with an everlasting love (
John 3:16-17)
-"But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered."
Luke 12:7 (which are constantly changing)
-Yeshua said - "I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." ----
has loved them, as thou hast loved me. Wow!
