I think we should start up a long thread about survival tactics for the tribulation. I've been reading up on this, and I am fairly convinced that there will be no pre-trib rapture based on Matthew 24:21-22, and the fact that the resurrection of the dead saints is a pre-cursor to the rapture, and the resurrection happens when Christ returns at the end of the tribulation.
Anyhow, there are many survival tips for terrorism etc. but none for the tribulation which is supposed to be worse than anything in the whole of history. So if we watch some WW2 movies, on what the Jews did to survive - supposedly that's a walk in the park compared to what we will experience.
I think it's important right now to start thinking how we are going to protect and provide for our families. Some say that a generation is about 52 years, and since the capture of Jerusalem happened in 1967, that makes the timing of the coming of Christ around 2019 - which seems to be a date that many people are guessing (a range from 2017 - 2024) so if we subtract 7 years of tribulation, that means the tribulation should start around 2012.
I'm concerned for my young family, so if we can begin discussing how to deal with shelter, food, money, self-defense etc. that would be good.
Please do not contribute to this thread to argue about post-trib or pre-trib, or whether you should or should not prepare. This thread is all about preparation strategies and so it would be good to keep the thread focused so it can be a resource for those who do want to prepare.
Thanks.
