First you take little baby steps, then as you grow and mature you learn how to walk like a man. Just like Science you have to test and try something before you can determine if it is true or not. What makes you think religion and science are all that much different in that regard> If you accept science without testing it first you could get yourself into a lot of trouble.

Yeah, I was a Christian once. Put things to the test and they all failed. Science, however, withstands testing.

So thanks, but I'll stick with science. I can see the results of the tests done to science, and they're all passes.

If your an honest person you will come to the conclusion that there is a God. The problem is when people do not seek to know if there is or if there is not a God.

(Hint for you: The different running of clocks doesn't depend on getting further away from the Earth. It depends on how close you are to a source of gravity. As you go further away from Earth, you are getting closer and closer to other sources of gravity. Your idea MIGHT work if the Earth was the only thing in the universe, but the Earth is not alone, therefore you are wrong.)

You see I wonder if here in the earth state, where gravity and velocity are the big things, that might obscure a time difference cause that was independent of these things?

Perhaps what you put to the test was the teaching of man. Not the word of God. Because God's word does not ever fail, I am sure of that. It is just like people will say I do not believe in God. Kinda vague. I suppose some people think the word fails if they jump in a den of poisonous snakes and get bitten. I guess some of us think God fails when a loved one gets sick or dies.

I must admit when I hear that sort of thing it creeps me out. For example, I could be listening to an otherwise great teacher talking on bible prophesy...right on the money...then they launch into some Calvinist bizarro world. (where they say things like if someone sins they were never saved..etc)
