There are checks and balances in government. Courts have usurped authority. I'm concerned for my family. My daughter and I had been out one time and a man walked by and set a package down on a bench and walked away. We had to get up and walk quickly away. These things never happened years ago. I don't know anyone's age but I lived in a better time.

Have you read the order? There is nothing in it mentioned about the Constitution.

The problem is, this doesn't stop terrorists. If a terrorist wanted to get into this country to do harm, they would find a way around this ban. They would go to another country, change their name and country of origin, and get in. It does not stop any home grown terrorists either that have been radicalized over the internet or at home.

This ban does nothing to stop terrorists.

It has everything with stopping Muslim immigration into this county.

I think any deterrent is worth it - to save lives and limbs. I watched a documentary on it last week - it was very sad. They showed people hobbling to the courthouse with artificial limbs. What a terrible terrible thing that was done.

Other than 9/11 none of those was on the scale of Las Vegas. The US doesn’t have open borders. No one is suggesting them. Just suggesting following that pesky constitution.

I can't even comment on your reply if I don't know which incident you are referring too.

Though I would even say that in general, a ban would not have protected us from 9/11, since most of those people are from Saudi Arabia, which has not been on the ban lists.
