Well, the old rules were washed away. In the New Testament, there is a lot said about charity, love, kindness, giving, accepting the poor, the meek, the outcasts... but very little about how a person should dress. In other words, practically all the rules regarding the way people should dress are based on what people wanted others to wear.

I don't care so much about entertaining. I've just never seen an explanation of why Christians believe transvestism is a sin which does not involve the use of Levitical law. Yet somehow the fact it is no more Biblically proscribed than mixed fiber clothing or shellfish doesn't stop most Christians from condemning it anyway.

Do you wear mixed fiber clothing? That is identified as sin. What about eating shellfish like shrimp or lobster? God called that an abomination. Strange how you claim Leviticus identifies sin yet it is not followed by Christians.
