Conservative commentators have likened Monday's protest to the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. But others have noted that it was largely peaceful.

It's strange that this didn't garner hardly any media response since this is the worst terrorist attack on our country since 9/11. Everyone involved in this transurrection needs to lose their jobs and face 20 years in prison.

Trans-rights group peacefully protests at Oklahoma Capitol​

About an hour before Governor Stitt took to the podium, the group of protesters filed onto the fourth floor.

Demonstrators were let in by Oklahoma State Troopers and Capitol security staff. Each person walked through a metal detector.

Capitol security staff was in contact with the leaders of the protest and on multiple occasions, the leaders were giving direction to the crowd about where they could stand (how close to the House chamber door) and even telling the group to be quiet once the State of the State began.

By the time Governor Stitt concluded, the crowd had dispersed and gone home.

Sounds like the Capitol security staff will need to be investigated for possibly colluding with insurrectionists.

“The Oklahoma House will support and defend the First Amendment rights of all who come to have their voices heard,” the statement read, in part. “Regarding Monday’s protest, there were no reported incidents or unlawful behavior and any national narrative to the contrary is false.”
