When one actually looks at the various tendrils of this tale, it smells fishier and fishier. Donald has his perfect phone call with Zelensky. Rudy goes to Ukraine to look for dirt on the Bidens. Hunter abandons a laptop at Ablow's practice, which is recovered when DEA raids Ablow and the laptop is returned to Hunter. Three laptops are supposedly dropped off at John Issac's repair shop. He just happens to be legally blind so he can't tell who actually visited his store AND he's a huge Donald fan.

This was supposedly in early 2019. In December 2019 the FBI gets the laptop/hard drive/whatever, but copies of the data have been given to Rudy, Bannon, etc. Fall 2020 Rudy starts shopping the data to news outlets who pass on it until the tabloid NY Post grabs hold of the story and decided it would be the hill they would die on.

October 2020 and we have a failed October Surprise to no one's shock if they'd been paying attention.
