  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

"Quality time" was the love language I initially chose but physical touch is emerging as a keeper. There are times when I felt like a dry sponge and when hugged by a significant other it's like I'm soaking them up. So healing to the soul!

Then once in my 20s I hugged my fiancee and it felt like our souls touched, smooshed together--we both felt it. Freaky!

The textures/warmth of sex is of course healing to me,probably an extention of one who prizes physicality. I grew up as one of four boys who were always wrestling, flips, knocking frames off the wall. Maybe that was an influence.

To the contrary...I believe I was insulted by BlackRibbons post . As for fat people....I have friends who are fat ... in fact im overweight for my height and frame.

And...I shall still maintain my personal right to forego hugging ANYONE in a Group that I don't wish to and for whatever reason . I extend that same freedom to you and everyone else in such a circumstance.

Do you also get that ?

In "love" I would like to point out that God doesn't give you the option to pick and choose which of His children you are going to love with His unconditional love.

My point was that you selected this particular group of people to insult when it wasn't necessary to even mention...simply saying that you don't feel like touching other group members would have been enough. The fact that you felt the need to specify this group of individuals points out a hardness in your heart.

I don't think any of us are just one...that is why there are five. Maybe 'quality time' is actually more the one I need...though I tend to give 'acts of service'. I am kind of uncomfortable receiving them.

a. I beg to differ. God extends to Us the capacity to choose whom we want to love in a romantic way as well as applying unconditional love . God also expects us to set up healthy boundaries with some people so we can still love them but not enter into a toxic relationship.

b. I chose to mention the morbidly obese women in my large Singles Group who look for a hug from me, because that was the reality of the situation. Without apology, I don't care to hug such women as this because it might send the wrong message especially if they have a great void of affection currently in their life., and further, being a Male I have a God given Apparatus that is a built in Barometer when it comes to the physical appeal of a woman ..... for which I am also unapologetic for . Are you okay hugging any Male of any sort upon command of a Singles Class Teacher ? I think not. Lastly, I don't see my God given Male Apparatus/Barometer when it comes to the physical, as being 'hard hearted' in the least --- it is a prerogative I have and I feel quite confident that The Lord agrees since it falls into the Freedom in Christ category . If you were a Christian Male, I think youd understand better , but you are not.

You do not know what you are missing! Most people carry their tension between their shoulder blades. In the U.S. Navy Lab Technician School,we had to work 16 hour days, every 5 days for a year. On my days off, usually on Sundays, I would look forward to getting a good massage that would get me through the week. A Lab Tech job is the number 4 most stressful job in the country, especially if one works in the Blood Bank.A patient would need a transfusion very quickly. One has to cross match blood as fast as humanly possible. If one makes a mistake,a patient can die.Yet well all make mistakes, because we do not live in a perfect world. Air Traffic Controller is the number one most stressful job in the Country

I will take your word for it :) No massages for me, thank you very much.

Air Traffic Controller is the most stressful job in the country? I guess you learn something new everyday.
