Fear or Uncertainty
Abandoning all things that distract your exit
Losing all apprehension in making your transit
Dropping all second thoughts of that old nature
Readying yourself to pursue that which matures
Awaiting the stares and glances of disbelievers
Nodding in hopes to remember the over-achievers
But do they know that you found the real medium
Do they know that the truth is really for them?
Do you wonder if they are ready to be fully shaken?
Are they receptive enough to really take it in?
Will uncertainty be their guide to discovering?
Or will your presenting the gospel be more troubling?
Will the wearied, the uncertain, and fearful see
That spiritual chains have held us away from liberty
That the exercise of real christianity is denied
Because of mistakes of other claimers were misguided
Will they read for themselves and take objectiveness
Or, recur to presuppositions and selectiveness
Will your words and actions be meaningfully seen
Will they mock your sincerity or know to listen
Will the conviction arise in their souls and lead
Will the little mentions of faith later succeed
Will the everlasting and relevant wisdom become a seed
Will the hardened heart make its growth not proceed?
Did they know that the words were spoken not for grant?
Did they really know that you spoke of a love triumphant?
Did they really get the details of how much He cared?
Words voiced because of your concerns for their welfare
How your heart yearns afterwards of their acceptance
A longing wonderment for their spiritual deliverance
A crying out for spiritual fellowship even to eternity
For them to have peace for sure but not a life of futility
