Not if all the plants are dead. You missed the point.

Try this experiment - take a plant, just about any plant, and put it under water for the better part of a year. Take it out and see how well it survived

Plants need CO2 to survive. H20 is not C20. There is no carbon dioxide in water. See where this is going?

Not to mention that, if there's enough water - say enough to reach over the highest mountain - the water is going to block out most, if not all, of the sunlight.

Not to mention most plants aren't designed to withstand water pressure.

Herbivores can't eat the plants if all the plants are dead.

I think you are missing the whole point. (Hint: seeds)

The seeds are dead, too. Sorry. You can't just put a seed in the ground, cover it with water for a year, and expect it to grow after the water abates. It's not happening.

Unless you're suggesting that Noah replanted the Earth, by himself. But you couldn't possibly be suggesting anything that ridiculous.

Herbivores can live off a vegetarian diet. Sheesh.

"Sheesh" all you like.....your childish myth has it that ALL of the planet was covered in water for the better part of a YEAR...!

What would you imagine they ate.......rotting slime...!?

How does that help you? The herbivores still have nothing to eat. (Hint: it takes time for seeds to grow.)

Wait for it.......someone will wave a magic wand, resulting in lightning fast germination and growth.....!

Please, ED, you are not a total fool

The myth of the Ark has been busted hundreds of ways. Why do you insist on believing that it is true?

Indeed.....isn't it about time that, as individuals and as communities, we threw away the 'blankies' of our childhood and started to see the world for what it IS, rather than what some would wish it to be....?

Or, as someone else put it some time go........"When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things..." Paul of Tarsus...

I'm sorry but I don't see where it is busted. I think you have it a little backwards.

Land was being exposed for a full 7 months before Noah opened the ark.
Perhaps you could figure out the rest for yourself with science.

And that would be the land that had supposedly just been saturated for months in a SALT solution.......??

Yeah, just the ones that grow around moisture, like mosses and such.....

And they'll die when submerged underwater for an extended period of time. Developing in a moisture rich environment isn't the same thing as developing underwater. They're not equipped for that. Do you pay attention to anything that doesn't support your argument?

Chew on this - plants like apple trees have fruits and berries. They spread their seeds by having animals eat them and poop them out. Question: If the Flood crushes and sweeps away all their fruits and all the fruit trees, how are they going to start spreading again? Where will the new fruits come from?

Land was being exposed for a full 7 months before Noah opened the ark.

So? Dead earth is dead earth.
