Yes, a lot of people will go see it and im sure Hollywood will make sure of that. I for one have not read the book and I won't. I will not see the movie either, I will not waste money on anything that is hostile to The Church. And I think that Catholics should show their disagreedment with the movie by not watching it. Hit hollywood where it hurts them, don't give them your money.

I don't like it either but I'm still torn about whether it's going to be a bad thing overall. The book is what made me confirm to myself with a fervor that Catholicism is the church that I should stay with.

It was a fun book to read, it'll be a fun movie to watch.

My daughter, the one that is confused, came up to me the other4 day & said "you know Jesus was married & had a baby" She said she saw it on TV, a 3 hour show.....
Well, we had a good conversation, I just hope she listened!!!

If the movie is anything like the book, then it might be a good idea to read up on the book, because people will probably be asking how factual it is (and if it is like the book, then it's basically fiction)... There's a critique on it here, if anyone is interested.

Suffice it to say I won't be seeing the movie; maybe I'll look at reviews just to see how close it is to the book. Why should I reward Hollywood for making the movie if it ends up spouting lies like the book does?
