Yo, anyone a fan of the old Tom and Jerry cartoons? I've been a huge fan of them since I first started watching them last year and I'm only 17. I have dozens of episodes recorded on tape. They are so awesome! My favorite character is Tom because cats rule and I hate Jerry he's such a pest lol but anyway I'm obsessed with this show...do any of you like it as much as I do?

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Tom and Jerry has been my fourth favorite cartoon since before I can remember (being beat out only by Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Casper, and Gummi Bears).
Sorry man, but I love Jerry. What a cutie. And he's smart. Stupid Tom is always getting beat up. If he'd just learn to live with the mouse then he'd quit getting so hurt!!!

It is a pretty funny show. I would be embarrassed to watch it now if someone else was around other than people I know though.

I liked Jerry's cousin, the one who would blow into his thumb to inflate his fist. That never fails to crack me up. Besides, I like any cartoon characters who wear derby hats. They're always comical tough guys.
