WE all know that Todd Bentley screwed up. The WORLD knows it and most of all GOD knows it.

How about we all take care of that log in our own eyes and leave the speck alone in Todd's?

Praying for him is a good idea and not all these threads over and over about the sin of another man.

Whatever! BTW, Please do not quote me anymore. Ignore my posts. I don't have time for your sarcasm every time you quote me. Continue to do as you have been, and ignore me. Thank you!

TODD BENTLEY---Thank You Jesus for the reminder. I was thankful then and I am still thankful that He is Most High because all things…all things are under His feet. This I know positionally, and this I know by experience. Particularly with recent personal challenges and “fall from grace” it has been good to remember this place of “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength,” the “more than a conqueror” place of victory. It is a place of overcoming, rising up, far above, not defeated; a place of subjecting those things that bind and trip me up to the rule of the Lordship of King Jesus.

Ok, he admitted to his 'fall from grace" is that enough for some of you? Or do you need more?

I hope this thread is closed as the other ones were. Enough is Enough!

Personally I need more. Crocodile tears and a new website are not nearly enough.

I post this because it's evidence of something long suspected - that the ultimate intention is just to get Todd back into the ring. It's not so much about Todd Bentley as the people and movement behind him, of which Todd is only a symptom. When it was found out about his drinking and cheating, he "stepped down," and wasn't "taken down." Even when they knew about it, they still let him on stage for a few performances (I was at Joyner's church where Todd was scheduled to be there the next night, even though the news about his cheating was out). When he divorced, they said, "Well, even God is divorced." When he married the girl he was cheating with, which is adultery in the eyes of God, Rick Joyner--who is Todd's "mentor," has said only the following:

“When Todd’s marriage failed, he abruptly stopped all ministry and virtually disappeared for almost nine months. In the meantime, his divorce was finalized and he has recently remarried. Todd has taken full responsibility for the failure of his marriage. He and Jessa also admit that their relationship was premature and should not have happened the way it did. Both are adamant that it was not the cause for the failure of his first marriage, nor did they begin their relationship until Todd was convinced that his marriage was over. They have both expressed that it was wrong and premature. They do not want to try and cover this up even though they know many will never accept them for it. Even so, they are married now and are resolved to make the most of their marriage, their lives, and to continue to serve the Lord in the best way that they can."

I wish I knew a more palatable way to say it, but this is mostly lies and excuses. We (meaning me and those who would probably agree with me about TB) don't say these things because we get pleasure in the flesh from it, or that the prospect of a fallen minister grants a sense of pleasure, but because very possibly we are dealing with a pack of wolves. I was caught up in Lakeland when it started; you can search my posts to go back and see it, and I was planning a trip down there to be part of it, but when my eyes were opened after doing reading, watching YouTube, and making excuses myself, I saw I had been taken by wolves who put themselves under the guise of loving Christ and undefiled following of the Holy Spirit.

The thread might get closed down, but I'll settle with that. I do this thread because I see wolves at work, and when this happens, the sheep are sucked dry. I don't want to see that again.

I am happy he is using a website to communicate and blogging. Now we can get things from the horse's mouth. At least that is encouraging.

I just hope we don’t get more spin from the horse’s mouth.

I am sorry that you got sucked into this and was deceived, many were. I happen to come across him on TV one day back then and watched for about maybe fifteen minutes. I had never heard of Todd until then actually, and I knew it was a lie and phony as I watched.

Nevertheless, We can't continue to beat a dead horse.

God uses all these things, good and mostly Bad experiences for our own personal growth. That is all I can say really. I know you learned from that experience. I believe even Todd has learned, We all should have learned something even if we were not a part of it.

If he is up to the same game, God will deal with him. But, I think also we may be too quick to judge the man and keep going around the same mountain with his faults. I just can't subscribe to doing that to him or anybody else to be honest and I did not agree with ANYTHING he did.

Why we do what we do is what God is looking at. There also comes a time we have to forgive and move on and let God deal with people, even when it comes to Todd. But, I do understand where you are coming from on the other hand, I truly do.:):)

Thank you much for your understanding, ANM29, and I am glad you see where I'm coming from. It's true, God is ultimately the judge of what happens, and the judge of all the Earth will do right. I mentioned too though that it's not simply Todd Bentley; there's far more behind the scenes of his ministry and the Lakeland Revival than the man that you see on stage, and that's what I'm most on alert about. You see these leaders trying so hard to put a man back into ministry who has not only done these things, but throughout the process they've excused his actions or overlooked them when it could be helped. I'm not talking about Bentley, I'm talking about the people backing him.

We are told in Matthew 7 to watch out for false prophets, and we will know them specifically by their fruits. The adultery, its coverup and excuses, all the unbiblical teachings, these are the fruits of the apostolic ministry, so rightfully we need to be on guard. The weeding out of false doctrines and testing false teachers and apostles, this is what Jesus commended the church of Ephesus in Revelation 2 for doing, and would have us do the same. I bring these up because there are still those in the body who do not understand.

So TB admitted to his fall from grace, he admitted?

But did he confess and REPENT his SINS of false teaching, false doctrine, lies, grandstaging, and many more unbiblical practices.

Did he confess and REPENT for mocking our Lord Jesus Christ.

Did he confess and REPENT his "IDLE WORDS"?

Did he?

Did he reconcile himself with his wife and family? no he didn't!

Did he continue in his sin of adultery, divorced his wife and children, and remarried quickly?

Now, I haven't heard TB confess and REPENT all of those things above publicly. Have you?

Sure a man of the flesh will say: "I'm sorry I failed God, and I'll make amends!" And begin again where he left off.

Do you honestly believe that he: is now submitting to our Lord Jesus Christ; has CLEANSED his hands, and PURIFIED his heart; and is resisting Satan, his angels, and his forces? DO you believe that?

Well I don't, because I haven't heard him confess and REPENT his sins publicly to all of the Body of Christ, to all those people who he seduced and deceived. Did he?

Blessings.

Well folks the show must go on... because we gotta have revival. I like Rick Joyner and Todd Bentley but I'm deeply saddened by their actions. I understand Joyners heart in restoration, but it's only been a year. Now he's getting ready to crank it back up again. Because the heart of the matter is it's not about people, it's about these guys trying to get some event happen, to further their own agenda. And I really dont want to hear anymore what they have to say. BTW I did not watch much of Lakeland, I did not attend Lakeland.
