This is an unprecedented event. Starting tonight and into tomorrow
Shavuot – aka Pentecost is this Sunday. It is a Jewish Holiday ( Holy Day)
and was first inaugurated after the exodus from Egypt 50 days after the
Passover. (All Passovers since have been a remembrance of that day).
It was 50 days when they had come to the mountain where G-d first met
ith Moses and the commandments were given.
Many are not aware but this was what is called a Ketubah, a Marriage certificate.
In this it states what each party would do, that is why a Marriage is called a Covenant.
When the words were read by Moses, all Israel responded with:
When Moses went and told the people all the LORD's words and laws, they responded with one voice, "Everything the LORD has said we will do."
This is the day of the giving of the Torah, also the ketubah, the Marriage certificate.
This night there is a very special event happening around the world.
It is being translated into 13 languages, and there will be
13 teachers from around the world speaking on preparing the Bride for the coming of Messiah.
You don’t want to miss this.
You can view it on Facebook or Youtube.
The languages the full prayer book (free) is translated into and also a commentary of the book of Ruth, which is read (she prepared herself to be the bride) are as follows:
