CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Who could forget the USA Freedom Kids dance troupe, who performed at a Trump rally in Florida, back in January?
Well, in lieu of payment, the troupe agreed to appear with the guarantee that they would be provided with somewhere to sell their merchandise.
They weren't, and now they're suing the Donald's campaign!

No, what he wants is to reinforce the third party vote, since it is more likely to drain voters from Clinton than him. At the moment nationally Trump is tied or slightly ahead according to the most recent polling, and in the swing states the race is tightening.

The GOP nominee’s campaign is spending lavishly on Trump businesses instead of cheaper alternatives.
“It doesn’t look right, even if it is legal,” said Paul S. Ryan from the Campaign Legal Center watchdog group. He called Trump’s heavy spending on his own properties “unprecedented” and said the timing of the payments is curious. “Any way you slice it, this level of self-dealing looks bad,” he said. “It looks like a candidate who is pocketing donors’ money.”

He probably feels his own venue would do better jobs and wishes recouping of some of his primary dollars. No big deal.
Look at Obama jetting Hillary around on taxpayers money! Since when does the POTUS get involved with getting the Democratic nomination around on everyone's money? Not just the ones that donate!
If you donate you expect it to be spent, but you don't as a taxpayer from another party expect your tax dollars to go into the Presidential race.

Recouping an investment? That's not really what the campaign for president should be about.
There are rules for the campaigns reimbursing the government for the use of Air Force One, no matter which party is in power at the moment.
