All blessings great and small, but especially today I am grateful for my CF friends. Thanksgiving weekend 2007 was when I joined CF and what a great year of friendship and prayer it has been. Thank you all so much!

I'm thankful, somehow I managed this last Bug-a-boo BUG on my own, for 10+ days.
geeze,
I haven't enjoyed the ice in all that time. And next practice starts, in 9 hrs.
Maybe I should get some zzzzzzz shleeep

For surgeons, blessed with talents and skills, given them, by our maker
for soon, they will investigate the blockages in my thighs
'to elucidate the problems'

A tube, will be 'passed' via my femoral arteries
to supply the 'radio-opaque dye' to my blood circulation
which, will allow them, to SEE my blood arrive at the blockages
and struggle past them

Because of, the possibility of haemorhage from these 'insert-sites'
following their removal
I will have-to lay quietly afterwards for up to an hour
and then move around for half an hour, before, a final examination
and my release from the hospital [when okay]

I have had these examinations a few times already
and the sensations as the dye passes through my body
feels like 'wetting the bed' would [transient warmth]
Well, it is, slightly 'radioactive'

Recently: For a phone call from a son I was longing to hear from. For the reminder that it takes an acorn (a small thing) to produce an oak tree and to be thankful for all small beginings.


For my hubby's red van appearing along the road when I was struggling with a heavy bag of groceries as he was sent to a job, that wasnot on his list, when he should have been 14 miles away at another job. Thank you Lord.


For the morning I was needing a friend and once again Hubby came home unexpectedly between bookings. Thank you Lord.

For all the love and sharing that is going on in the body of Christ. Thank you Lord and Amen
