So that's you as a youngster! I think I can see some facial likeness between the young boy and your avatar. Is the one below you (a few years ago) or your son looking very much like you?

Your parents look like lovely people. (Your father has a slight resemblance to Fred Astaire perhaps?) I like the clothes of that era: men shirts and jackets, women print dresses, and I had one, with smocking, like your sister's.

Yes Sue Sis' ... I received them from my sister ~a few years ago [and put them away]
You know how it is when you want to find them again ? LOL

Well here they are..... 'at-last'

and yes, so-many photos of him, resemble me at that age
One of the reasons we chose to name him after me

My next door neighbor.. Tomorrow he is paying the down payment on a used pickup truck for me..I didn't even ask him to.He saw my need and proposed to make sure I have wheels!

The truck is a sweetheart!
It's a'98 Mazda B2500-straight drive(which I prayed for),hitch on it-another plus-gets PHENOMENAL gas mileage,new tires--no squeaks,thumps-basically behaves like a brand new vehicle!
