I am grateful that my power stayed on even though it blipped a few times. Nine inches of wet snow is hard on power lines.

Oh Dave,
God has blessed me indeed by the stack of dishes that greeted me this morning..... I did a dumb no, no yesterday.... I was cooking dinner (lunch)
and listening to an oldies and goodies station... I was swaying to the music when Rusty started crying and trying to get out of his chair. He has gained up to about 25-30 pounds since his accident (steriods!!!). I picked him up and danced across the kitchen...pulling a muscle in my back and I could hardly breath because of the spasms.... so I took a muscle relaxer and left the dinner to my son and a friend..... this morning, I found how much God had blessed me!

I 'did' my back [in] when Max's back legs 'went', at the front gate
Wanting to carry him indoors, I'd bent my knees and cuddled him
before attempting to rise [properly]
and the noise my back made was plainly audible to both Mary and myself
The nearly two weeks that followed were a 'trial' in all-meanings, of that word

It was also a self-inflicted torture ~to get in and out of Mary's son's car
as we took Max to the vet afterwards [for euthanasia ... no alternative recourse]

When I was given an epidural [prior to my last hernia repair]
the anaethestist mentioned that my spine was curved, as a result of my past life
I can say that I was not overly surprised, to hear that... it has been a heck of a ride


Hope you are feeling much better... I love clean dishes too!
Some folks seem to treasure dirtied ones overly much
Yesterday is gone, time, to dirty some AGAIN
