Today I'm grateful that the Lord is in control, even when life seems tough.

today I am also grateful for the CF friends who advised me on how to pray....I fell asleep holding my teddy bear, saying the Our Father and thinking of this forum before all went dark....

then woke up refreshed with a smile on my face!

Today I'm grateful for the family of God, and for having this group here despite us living so far apart.

Yes we are, and I give thanks for this every day. The membership and blessings are eternal. I like to think about this when I'm feeling a little bit down. I like this description: a Church not made with human hands, the Church which is the Body of Christ, and Jesus Christ Himself is the head.

Having easy access to both town and country, and a lovely walk yesterday seeing the beauty of the spring countryside: buds on the trees, lambs in the field, daffodils blowing in the breeze and fluffy white clouds with some blue sky. A real "Oh to be in England, now that spring is here!" (apologies to Browning) moment, unlike my cynical comment last year when saying it during torrential rain!
