Red Wolf: I want to be absolutely clear here.

Is it your claim that Roman Catholics worship the Pope in the same manner as you worship God?

No prevarications, no pictures, no quotes from obscure publications.

Simply answer the question.

The Catholic church declares that you must bow before and display acts of worship unto a MAN called Pope. The very

But, the Bible says that Jesus is the head ...... Has He abdicated?

So, you guys say that all you do is venerate the pope. Actually, it's no different from worship.

This in response to my statement
As much as I disagree with Rome on important issues, and as much as I object to pontiff maximus in the same manner that I object to papal primacy, I am not convinced or even persuaded that Roman popes take such titles 'to themselves.'
Doesn't look like I even agree in papal primacy, let alone 'pope as God'- whatever that means.

1. the Pope has never claimed to be God. You should take a lesson in manners. Spreading false information would probably be discouraged
2. that quote had nothing to do with anything. How dare the Pope fight aganist a secularized society!!

Semantics. She claimed to be receiving visions from God, but didn't want to be called a prophetess. She did refer to herself as 'the Lord's messenger" which is exactly what prophetes means (speak forth)
