  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Haha, yep. We ended up sleeping on the ground and finding our way out the next morning. It was pretty awesome to wake up to a bear roaring on top of a mountain though, I'm not going to lie.

That it would be! Anything to do with old history fascinates me. It would be pretty sweet to spend a night in one of those old castles as well.

I'd say that counts. :D. You should go again and you are right. It is peaceful and it's quite fun when the fish are biting.

Have you ever broke a bone?

Oh my...a bear roaring? That's be soooo cool, yet rather scary! :D

I know, right? My imagination would probably work overtime imagining the parties and families that lived in the castle. ^_^

I'd like to go fishing, but no one in my family seems interested in it. I mean, I could just go myself, but I'd like someone to be with me, ya know?

No, I have never broken a bone before. :)

That's awesome!

If you were snowed in for several days, how would you spend your time? (Btw, I'm snowed in as I'm typing this.) :D

Daha! I'd do my chores, puzzle books, craft projects, cooking/baking, internet surfing (if I have internet), playing on computer (if there's electric), and some other stuff I can't think of right now. :)

We only have a foot of snow over here, so that's not much yet. When it's about 3-4 feet like last year, then we'll be half snowed in. :p

Nice! All sound like good choices. We still have power, but the roads are rediculous. We don't have the equipment to clear the roads like yall do up there. The good thing though is that it's a blast in a 4x4.

That's over 6 inches more than us, lol. I guess that's the south for you. I couldn't imagine 3-4 feet of snow.

Do you like crossword puzzles?

Yeah, I saw on the weather channel website the snow you guys got. My mother chuckled when she heard Atlanta was at a stand still with only a few inches. I would've laughed too, but at the same time you guys aren't used to it like us northern folk are...so I felt kinda bad for you folk down south. :)

I'm more into fill-in puzzles and word search. I can do word search really well! ^_^

Haha, I bet she was. It's ridiculous down here. Everything is closed too. You know it's sad when even McDonalds closes. :D. We got a ton of freezing rain on top of our 5-6 inches of snow, so you are pretty much iceskating when you walk out the door here, lol.

Word searches are fun. They help time pass on long trips too.

What's the most snow that you have ever had?

Oh my...Mickey D's closed too? Wowza! :D

Hmmm...the most snow I've seen about 4-6 feet...and that was last year!

Good grief! I would be in heaven. :D.

If you could camp or hike anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Daha, oh, I know! Not only was it beautiful, but it was fun running around in it. :D

Hmmm...I'd go camp somewhere out in the western US and I'd go hiking the Great Wall of China...or the Alps. ^_^

Haha, I bet! You could build a snow fortress with that much snow. That's just insane! :D

Wow, great choices! The Alps really would be amazing.

Who has influenced your life the most? (Other than the Lord.) How so? (If that's too personal then I understand.)

Oh, I know! In one of the huge snow banks, us kids dug out a fantastic igloo. It was super! :D

Hmmm...besides God the Father...I'd say my mother. How so? She's taught me most, if not all, of what I know and she's loving and patient and always there for me. :)

I'm definitely envious! :D

Sounds like you have a great mom.

Have you ever had a near death experience?

Near death experience? Hmmm...well, there was the one time we were traveling along the side of a mountain in the snow...and we happened to hit a patch of ice just as we were coming to a turn. We would've slid right off the side of the mountain and rolled into the valley (which was quite a ways down) if we haven't bumped into a hidden guardrail (and popped a tire...but that was a small matter). We all agree, God was definitely with us that day. ^_^

Oh wow, I bet that was a little terrifying to say the least and I would concur. God was definitely with y'all that day.

What was the hardest thing that you've ever cooked?

Hmmm...the hardest thing...well, I had a terrible time once with a lemon meringue pie. It came out as a lemon pudding instead. :sorry:

Other than that, I usually don't have too much trouble. :)

Those are great! Well, as long as the pudding taste like the pie, I guess it's all good. :D

What's the longest that you have been without sleep?

Daha, yeah, my family still liked the lemon pudding, so it turned out ok in the end. ^_^

Hmmm...24 hours? Or maybe just a little longer. That was when I was younger...now I have to sleep at least 7-8 hours or I'm a complete mess. :D
