If you are sinful to the core, that is your issue. Perhaps you need to spend more time in repentance and less time persecuting God's beloved who happen to be gay.

We are all sinful. But with Jesus we receive a new nature.

This young man doesn't need to be confused by you. You cannot come and try to influence him away from the truth of Jesus Christ and His loving forgiveness. He promises us victory with our obedience to His wonderful word.

Au contraire.

I am here to witness to the liberating power of Christ.

We are called to be who we are, as he created us.

Being gay is not sin. Protest it all you want, but you will always and forever be deceived.

Behold the deceiver at work. Homosexuals are among the most deceived people on this planet.
Liberating? No. Homosexuals who believe they have a whole relationship with the Saviour are existing in a broken one--- and have sold themselves to slavery and heavy chains. Only prayer and fasting can ever hope to bring them to repentance for their release now.

The worst deceivers are those who claim Christ but pay homage to Satan, by their sinful practices and associations, and then try to promote themselves as righteous, and cause weak people to stumble.

Instead of lifting them up and presenting them to Jesus Christ and His righteousness, they pat them on the pack and tell them it's OK. It isn't.

Homosexuals will never see the Kingdom of God, and helping others to meet their doom is something that will bring added torment to their eventual condemnation.

Fasting? Do you imagine that gay people are, as a group, overweight?

Such a grim imaginary scenario. I'm glad it bears no relationship to reality.

While my heart goes out to what these men experienced, Much of what they were dealing with for me, just categorized just how much we are all broken inside. A broken past and a history of injury. My doubts come mainly in the form of definition. That is while these men certainly had a painful experience, is this the full spectrum of the homosexual experience? When I have been fully convinced that my homosexual feelings were immoral the first step that was always on my mind was figuring out what insecurities were causing it. That lead me on a journey of self-discovery and healing. However the hardest thing i have come across is the ultimate truth of the feeling. See for me, while i certainly struggle with a number of things, i feel that i can't categorize those things as being exclusively the cause of my homosexual feelings, which is why it has bothered me so, that I can never really put my finger on it. So I've done and continue to do work to try and reconcile my past as really ANYONE should. But yet still i can't seem to step away from this natural attraction towards other men. Now I'm fully able to admit that I'm not done yet, my healing isn't over but I have to look at things from all angles, I want to investigate if changing is really even necessary, or am I just denying what i long for out of fear? Its a tough battle but one that isn't over nor one that has reached a final conclusion.
Dear DesignerNate,

I found that when dealing with something in my life I always include HIM above. We as human beings tend to talk to others when things bother us and forget to bring it to HIM. Trust Him. Talk honestly with Him as one talks to his best friend. He knows everything and is waiting for you to talk to Him about it. I found when I trusted Him, He revealed things about myself, about situations in my life and openned my eyes to the truth of what was going on.

May God Bless you richly and direct your path to the peace and truth that you seek inside. I hope you don't mind that I pray for you.

Do you not understand the principle of fasting? Christians do it. Oh yeah, you don't believe in the bible and only pick and choose what you want to know...

Being gay is not a "lifestyle." And since you don't know anything about what it is to be gay, how can you comment on it with any authority?

Yes, it is a lifestyle that negates God as an influence in it. A person doesn't have to be "familiar" with a perversion to know that God hates it. He tells us clearly.

The authority you speak of is the authority of Jesus Christ that is given to all His own.

Yes, grim, but it isn't imaginary. You continue to stick your head in the sand like an ostrich, refusing to look at the truth, when everyone who knows the Lord is telling you about His saving grace and His promise to give you power for living righteously.

You have been given many chances and yet you continue to spurn Christ.

Sorry. You are wrong. God does not hate gay people, nor does God condemn our love relationships.

Being gay is not a lifestyle, as gay people here have told you over and over.

I do not reject Jesus. I reject the negative and mean-spirited use of the Bible to try to shame gay people into self-hatred and a repudiation of how God made us.

Dear Ohioprof, one can huff and puff but one will never blow the Word of God in.
You can change the Church, change peoples attitudes, cause some to compromise but you cannot change the Word of God.
The reality is clear. Those who believe in Gods Word and even those who do not will be accountable to God Himself when Jesus returns.
The Hour of His return is close and all those on Earth, even the dead, will face judgement. whether one believes it or not.

God doesn't hate ANYONE. But it will feel like hate when the sinner is dropped into the abyss, kicking and screaming. No mercy.

Goid condemns sin. Those who are stained by it and NOT washed in the blood of Jesus CONTINUALLY (that means confessing your sins regularly--and in the case of a homosexual--renouncing and walking away from it in freedom), will receive the appropriate reward: hell.

Love experienced God's way is what life is all about. Outside of God's parameters is theft, idolatry, fornication and downright chaos. Exactly what the counterfeiter, Satan has designed...on a silver platter of course.

Changing people's attitudes towards gay people works for me. I am encouraging Christians to stop preaching at gay people that our love is "sinful" and to accept gay people as we are. That is gradually happening, as Christians look at their opposition to same-sex relationships and realize that this opposition makes no sense. Same-sex relationships harm no one, and thay are a positive thing for society. Gay families raise children, and provide wonderful homes in many cases for adopted children. Most gay people are good, decent citizens who believe in marriage and stable families, and who want to get married and create stable families. Many gay people are avid supporters of churches that accept us for who we are.

The tide is turning. Attitudes are changing among people across America and in other nations, most of whom are Christians.

You may hang onto your particular interpretation of the Bible until the cows come home, but the world is changing around you, and it's for the better when it comes to the treatment of and acceptance of gay people. When Christians everywhere accept gay people, and we focus on problems that really are problems, then we will all win, including you.

I will not be thrown into the abyss. I am happy with my life, which is a blessing from God, and I do not fear death.

I agree with you , thank you, you have just agreed with the prophecy of Revelation.
The Apostate Church will rise ,it is doing that as we speak.
Most will twist Gods Word in the last days and it will all come to a head at the field of Armageddon.
But God will be victorious and Jesus will rule :amen:
