The link I provided was a complete course of lectures delivered by Robert Sapolsky at Stanford University on the biology of human behavior. Of course you won't watch it. I would be surprised if you could. No delusional person will willingly confront his own delusion. He runs away or becomes violent. As I am not your shrink, I am quite happy to let you run and cuddle with your imaginary friend.

You cannot reason a person out of a position he did not reason himself into. Personal religious beliefs bear no weight to physical reality. The spiritual world is something science does not dwell into. Atheists are not interested in "proving" God does not exist simply because they do not believe deities exist in the first hand.

We cannot be bothered to try to disprove the axistence of all manner of supernatural beings such as deities, leprechauns, fairies, unicorns, flying spaghetti monster, etc.

We accept science because it works. Science does not require one to be an atheist in order for one to do science so long as the one sticks to the rules governing science.

Science has not, and never will, disprove or acknowledge the existence of a higher power. You can't say for certainty there isn't a God, based on supposed scientific "fact". Now before you try to label me with those young earth creationists, just know something. I, along with a good number of Muslims, do believe in both creationism and theistic evolution. They can co-exist, despite what you, and the creationist nut jobs might believe otherwise.

Indeed! May I inform you though that science does not try to disprove God or any supernatural being simply because science does not delve into the unfalsifiable.

You can be of any faith and still do science so long as you stick to the rules governing science. This my friend was the belief of the early Muslims and that is why they continued with science and ended up passing scientific knowledge to Europe and thus ushered in the renaissance. When Christianity had forgotten ancient Greek science; it was the Muslims who took it up and continued. Spain was full of Muslim universities teaching ancient Greek philosphy, medicine etc. and also Arab philosophy and science.

Today we have Christians and Muslim fundamentalists who are totally anti science and this is a dangerous trait for humanity.
