Has anyone read Timeline by Michael Crighten(sp?)? I know the movie came out pretty recently. I didn't see it though because they changed sooo much of it!

Anyways, it's a very action-packed book. I recommened it to anyone who likes science fiction.

I read Timeline about a year ago. It was an amazing book - Crichton has a superb talent for blending science with fiction and making it interesting. If you manage to get through all the technical scientific explanations, the book really picks up. If you like Crichton's works, I reccomend Dan Brown as well; Brown has the same compelling logic as Crichton.

I saw the movie and liked it, but i'm not sure that the book would be the same...would you recommend it to someone who's seen the movie and how different are they?
