  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

ok!

So either jews or westerners (using lunar calendear and solar calendear) are wrong, according to you? couldn't both actually be right?
Of course they could, but the point is that different ways of measuring time doesn't change the nature of time, nor does it make time travel possible.

Oh, and about your siggy: if by the "God particle," you mean the Higgs boson, I believe it has mass.

Yeah I meant the higgs boson. But is it composed of Catholic mass, Protestant Mass, or dare I even say it Orthodox mass lol.

Universal mass? ;)

Seriously, It is theoretically possible to travel forward in time.
If we go to Alpha Centauri and back to Earth at or near the speed of light, ship time would be much much shorter than Earth time...Time dilation, I have heard it called. We just don't have the capability of to travel that fast.(yet)
Traveling back in time is not...Even if it were possible, would we want to?
Say you go back in time and accidentally kill your Grandfather or cause him to not meet your Grandmother. Would you cease to exist? THAT is quite a paradox!

I once read an article in Astronomy magazine. (Don't ask me to pull it up. I did something with, and it is ruined now. That technically if you're in a Jet that travels at its full speed the clocks on the plane when it lands are a few nanoseconds behind the clocks on the earth. They have thus traveled into the future, and I'm sure we all know about the whole gps thing.

Yes, something like that.
