we had a beef roast last night with mashed taters, broccoli, and mushroom gravy. for desert..homemade cheesecake which my neighbor made! They came to dinner last night! it was fun. after dinner we played "catch phrase!" what a great game!

In honor of Santa Lucia Day, we had candle-light breakfast with Swedish pancakes, bacon, fruit, OJ and coffee. The traditional thing to serve is Saphron bread, but I can't get the spice here, and bread would not be enough of a staple to get the kids through a school day....so Swedish Pancakes it is (she is an Italian Saint, celebrated by many people in Sweden....long story, but it's a Swedish holiday anyway.)

So I made chicken alfredo last night. It was quick and easy.

Not sure about tonight though. Anyone else finding it hard to meal plan durring the Christmas season? Anyone else want to just eat fudge and divinity instead?
