charlie and the chocolate factory was divine, but i hate all his other movie's dark elements

NONE of tim burtons movies were animated. (as far as i know) the reason they look so realistic is because they are claymations. (for those of you who dont know what a claymation is, they make everything out of clay and take a still frame, move the characters and such about a 1/10th of a millameter, take another still frame, and do that for the entire movie.) very little CGI is used. it looks so 3 dimensional because it is.
sorry about that, but it really bugs me when people call tim burtons movies animated.![]()
