Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Has any one ever bought tickets via ticketmaster online, and if so have you checked the option to print your ticket via e-mail. I am thinking about doing this, but it sounds risky...

Help anyone?
i got tickets for jack johnson about a month ago. i just get standard mail.

i've thought about printing them, but i don't want to risk something going wrong with my printer, or whatever... and it's cool to actually have the ticket, and it looks cool in a ticket collection.

speaking of ticketmaster, i'm buying dmb tickets in an hour when they go on sale.

wish me luck!!!

i want some good seats!!!

Good luck!

I would get my tickets sent by mail, but it's really exspensive! Unless I am missing something. I guess I'll just visit a local ticketmaster tomorrow.

There's a service charge whenever you buy Ticketmaster tickets, from the website, at an outlet. Etc.
Bah humbug... $26 for two $10/each tickets, just so I can be sure to get in.
Well, that time has passed, and I did indeed get in, but since my friend decided to ditch the concert a few days earlier, I gave a ticket away. So, really.. it was like.. one $26 ticket.

bah.

if you order them and choose standard mail, shipping is free. but i do believe, there is a service charge for using the online service.
ahh i see that now, but it also says will ship them 48 hours before the event. I would get nervous that they wouldn't come lol.

Nope, they guarantee you'll get them by then. I already have my U2 tickets, and the concert is in December.

Two U2 tickets were $99.00...before service charges. After service charges: $118.50 :sigh:

I hate Ticketmaster, but unfortunately there aren't really any alternatives.
that's not a bad price. i thought u2 was more than that. i think my dave tickets were (after all the charges) like $70 apiece.

it's alot of money. but it's my summer fun.

they usually send them like 2 weeks or so after you order them. If something goes wrong, they cancel the tickets, and they issue new will-call tix. so you can just pick them up at the venue.

they just say the 48-hour thing, just in case you order them really close to the date of the concert.

Yes, I did it several months back when I bought Duran Duran tickets. As mentioned, there is a service change for this (of course, it's Ticketmaster after all!). Anyway, my tickets were emailed to me the next day.

I hadn't heard of this concept before, surely emailed tickets are wide open to counterfeiting? Do you need ID or something to prove the tickets are yours?

They have a barcode just like any other tickets, so they're scanned upon entering the venue. Actually, when I saw Modest Mouse in Milwaukee, they didn't even have a ticket scanner...they just took the printed paper. I should have only bought one ticket and printed it out twice. :p

The concert sold out rather fast, the only seats I could get are about the worst ones possible.
