More than likely we because we've heard it all before. Its not like you going to be walking down the street and find some one that hasn't heard it all at least once.
Second, It never at a good time. I had some one try and talk to me about god when I was using the bathroom at my college. It always when I need to be doing something important or need to be somewhere.

Its like a old low production value commercial. It wasn't entertaining the first time you saw it, and it just gets older after the 5000 times you've seen it. You just want it to be over with so you can go back to watching your TV show.

Why is it that whenever I try to preach the Good News to unbelievers they see it as me threatening them....Its not like im all doomsday status lol...Why is christianity so alarming and threatening to unbelievers?

That would violate their religious beliefs. The Great Commission says to go convert everybody, not to stop if they ask you not to come.

Seems to me like a friendlier version of a religion which commands its followers to behead the infidels. See why I recognize a legitimate threat from Christianity?

Pagans tried to kill you? Well I hope you filed a police report and had them charged with attempted murder.

I use symbols, but I am not drawn to them.
I would have if some them weren't involved. just as Christianity crosses all boundries of rich and poor, doctors, lawyers, bagboys and waiters, So too in the world of Pagans and Wicca

The thing is, I used to be a Christian, but I can't elaborate on what denomination or those practices because, you know, they may come kill me for revealing that information. They're EVERYWHERE.

What does "being involved" have to do with anything?

I, like you, am usually put off by someone being deliberately evasive. These kinds of post seem very bizarre almost as if the person believes some sort of Pagan Mafia is watching CF just waiting to see him post something and then come beat him up/kill him. This strikes of a lot of paranoia and fear.

It really is a bad attempt if someone were to desire to bring someone to Christianity.
funny you say mafia!....I'm not afriad of anything, I was only afraid for her, depending on what kind of group she was in, some pagan groups when your in your in for good, obviously she is part of a very secular form of paganism, she can come and go, even in masonry there is the street version and the inner circle version, they are as different as night and day.

I assume you mean to imply that Hinduism was founded by Satan. Why not just say this directly? I notice many Christians like to thinly veil the more offensive doctrines of their religion, and I have to wonder why. Most Hindus would say that God is the founder of our religion (and a few would say that demons are responsible for founding Christianity), but I digress.

This isn't a particularly accurate description of general Hindu thought; it sounds more like something out of a Christian apologetics text in the "how to convert Hindus" section. The Hindu view of the afterlife only precludes desires that draw one away from God. For better or worse, this is actually quite similar to the Christian view. So you see that there's no need for me to convert.

In any case, my question was more aimed at addressing the Christian view of non-Abrahamic theists, specifically your perception that we have some sort of antipathy towards God. I notice that most Christian apologetic materials invite people into a relationship with God. This isn't very relevant to me, since I already believe in God (and the few apologetic materials I find on Hinduism contain patently false information). Not that I want Christians to be successful at converting Hindus, indeed I do not. But it seems to me that many Christians are out to convert us because they believe we are, for all intents and purposes, atheists who do not believe in a supreme God. Perhaps if you understood that we do have such a belief, you would not be so intent on compelling us to become Christians.
Almost all religions can be joined togather to make one universal global church, where everyone is on a path to reach God. the only problem with that teaching is that Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 Jesus makes His way the only way, there is according to Jesus and the bible only one path that leads to eternal life and that is through Jesus

This keeps getting better! "Obviously a secular form of paganism"? Do they cast squares instead of circles? I'd ask you which group that is, but I'm sure you won't answer.

The reality is, Pagan groups fracture all the time. I belonged to three, myself.

I can certainly second this. I'm not offended if someone honestly believes that I am going to hell for an eternity of punishment. I may wonder what I did to offend this person and incur such dislike, but I think that people are entitled to believe this if they like. Really all I ask is that Christians stop sending missionaries to go convert people elsewhere.
I was under the impression that Hindus believe there are many paths to truth, If Christianity were a path to truth what downfall would it have for Hinduism, were all on the path for truth, If all religions and gods lead to this truth who cares? And sending missionaries is part of the gospel (good news) that you can turn away from worthless statues that are made by men and cows that can't even speak and worship the creator of the world who gave His life for you, so that you might live, has any of the hindu gods been crucified and nailed to a cross giving up their life for yours. Thats the kinda God Jesus is! what god in any religion dies to save his people.....only the God of the bible

Time for me to break out my rarely used 2* Gardnerianess and call this one...

Kalderasha? What? Seriously?

There is no central organizational body for Wicca. None. Nothing. Nada. It's a mystery faith subject to regional and personal variance...even in the ultra-traditional form like I was in. Seriously, there's more of a central body for the Golden Dawn, and they barely even exist in an organized form. At least one can check against the Cicero/Regardie canon for adherence to basics. Given that the Wiccan BoS has several revisions and redactions, there's no basic form for comparison.

"Kalderasha" sounds like...silliness. They're Romani metalworkers, not some controlling body of Wicca. Maybe vaguely connected to stregha stregheri and the Leland strand of witchcraft? I don't know.
Ha ha ha and tell me old wise one Is there a network of organized crime families in America and world wide for that matter, can you tell me who and how these families control the network that they run, It appears FBI and the CIA have had decades of time trying to dismantle and destroy the mafia and as it appears they haven't even made a dent. So I guess we could all just do what Hoover did and just say "they don't exist" you may be deeply involved in wicca and have no knowledge of a controling entity just as many gang members don't know who their being directed by up the ladder, thats how the mafia works, thats how Wicca works, then again there are stations in every gang, coven, mob that aren't privy to whats really going on, If it were you probably would want out

I'm Plucky. You have me confused with the Good Feathers.

And that's an entirely different show.

I already said I wasn't Wiccan (not that there's anything wrong with that) and I'm currently a solitary practitioner.

So imagine yourself walking with your kids on a nice sunny day when suddenly you are approached by a stranger and he says:

"Hi there! I know you don't me, but I KNOW that you are an immoral pervert. I also know that you deserve to be beaten and hanged for your perverted and disgusting ways. To tell you the truth, you're children also deserve the same punishment as they've been infected by your depravity. It's okay though! All you and your kids have to do is admit to being horrible disgusting people regularly and beg for forgiveness and I promise all will be forgiven!"

This is more-or-less a paraphrasing of what people evangelizing on the street try and tell you. Its one thing to have a little booth set up and hand out tracts/answer questions of those interested (like local Muslims do). Its quite another to approach someone unsolicited and tell them they are horrible people for not prostrating themselves unto your God.

Personally, if someone on the street starts up a whole "your going to hell unless you repent" spiel unsolicited, they'll get a good hearty slap from me to communicate my displeasure at being molested.

You think thats weird! imagine some God hating atheist hanging around a website full of Christians raving and praising a God he wants nothing to do with, in fact if approached he will stoop to physical violence to stop them from speaking the words he hates so much to hear.........YES THAT IS ABOUT THE WEIRDEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD

I see the words solicited and unsolicited are completely foreign to you. And "God hating atheist"? Why hate something I don't believe in? Having a stranger come up to me to insult me merits a slap, but hey what do I know? You with your evident mind-powers to not only uncover a pagan-atheist-mafia conspiracy, but also to KNOW my opinions for me clearly means you are right:doh:.
