  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is supposed to get chilly tonight. High 30's, low 40's. But nothing like it was a couple weeks ago when it got down in the 20's! In Florida!!!! That's just crazy!

I think it snowed in LA yesterday too. My husband, who grew up there, watched the news and said in shock, "That NEVER happens."

It was 46 when I woke up this morning. High will be mid-60s. Brrrr!

I splurged and bought a new mattress set for our bed yesterday. A Temper-pedic
My husband didn't quite understand the concept. To me it wasn't just a new mattress. It was an investment in our marriage. A new beginning. It made me happy and want to cry at the same time.

I hope I like it too. It was VERY very expensive to not like
I'm hoping it helps me to get some sleep. At the present I only get maybe three or four hours a night.

Replace "glass of wine" with "glass of milk" and you'll have the reason my 9 yr old asked for one of those mattresses.

c1ners - that stinks that you aren't sleeping much. I hope the mattress helps. I've heard people either love them or hate them. But, I'm pretty sure you can return it for a full refund at the end of 90 days if you fall into the hate category. lol
