Considering we can't see angels since they are all around us, but not visible to us... I don't really think its an angel. Actually I'm more likely to believe someone seen a ufo since demons can take diffrent forms. That and if angels were visible, even is just one, first it would mean everyone would convert because they seen an angel. And second it would render what God says as fake since faith is required to believe in God. By that I mean why would anyone need faith if visible evidence such as an angel existed?

Jacob springs to mind, and other examples in Matthew, im sure in certain circumstances we are allowed to see angels if God so wishes, but we are supposed to be stricken with fear when we see them.

I'm curious how old your wife's camera is to have a resolution that small. Even really, really old cameras don't have resolution that small.

Most pictures like this are so small because the absence of detail precludes it from further criticism.

She took it with the camera on her phone. The phone takes very good pictures actually, it's a fairly new phone, 1 or 2 years old. It probably doesn't look very clear because it had to be zoomed in almost to the max when taken, and maybe also because the picture was sent to my low quality phone in which I used to post the picture here. What I can do to see if it makes a difference, is post the picture again from the original file from her phone. I'm not looking for fame or popularity, this website is the only place where I decided to post it after thinking about it for over a year. My wife never posted it anywhere on social media, and has showed it to only a couple of people in person. She is humble like that...

Hall, I have admired your demeanor throughout this thread. You have been the bigger person so to speak. Folks believe in Yahweh who is Spirit (John 4:24) and for some that fact is about all the supernatural they care to handle. On the forums, folks call others liars and just because it's stated doesn't make it so. You know that you and your wife are just seeking Yahweh and want to please Him. My advice - forgive and keep your time, energy, thoughts, etc focusing on Him.

As I have an interest in photography and that my wife and I own a couple of very nice semi-pro cameras, there have certainly be those times where I have come across some very interesting shots where parts of the images could be considered to be something that they are not.

With reference to the website you quoted, they also recognise that angels do not have wings, other than the heavenly hosts which are the Cherubim and Seraphim who only seem to minister before the Father:

"Further, the Bible very rarely describes angels as having wings. However, there are definitely two types of angels mentioned in the Bible that have wings: cherubim (Exodus 25:20; Ezekiel 10) and seraphim (Isaiah 6). Cherubim and seraphim are two types of angels, possibly the two highest orders of angels. So, this much is clear, some angels do have wings".​

As the Scriptures do not provide us with any suggestion that Angels have wings then we should probably keep away from what is really little more than an old-wives tale, though the image was certainly interesting enough in itself.

The creatures that the Angel is referring to appear to be symbols of wickedness and not Angels.

To me, I know many will believe that picture is real and many won't, it doesn't really make a difference even though I wish everyone would, because it is the truth. I just hope it lifts the faith of some who are going through rough times, the ones who need some kind of visual proof when living by faith alone becomes hard.

i don't think a 'visual proof' increases faith. Faith comes by hearing is what the Bible says.

My own struggle is with my own ideas versus the Bible.

I have read your posts and feel you are genuine.

My questions are with regard to ascertaining whehther this is actually ís an angel, and whether you or your wife are believing it to be something which it is not. I don't think i am calling you a liar.

I would question if some people posting here are too credulous, too ready to believe some things.

My apologies, i looked up the whole passage, an angel was speaking to Zechariah.

The passage makes more sense quoted as a whole.

Your statement "real picture of an angel" is only true if indeed this was an angel, not because you believe it, believing doesn't make something true.

sorry, I may be wrong but I am not sure, because it think the seeing involved would be some kind of spiritual seeing, as it is a spiritual being. I don't really know for sure though about these things.
