  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Is anyone gonna see it??? It's based on the book by Ted Dekker and just came out in theaters today! It's only in select theaters, so if you do wanna see it, make sure to go to http://www.foxfaithmovies.com/thr3e/ and check out the tickets section to find out if it's playing at a theater near you. I'm gonna see it...hopefully sometime soon

I'm excited that Ralph Winter is involved in it. I'm a big fan of Ted Dekker's writing, although I'd like to read the book before I see the movie.

It looks well done, at least from what I've seen in the previews. I'd like to see it in theater, but I'l probably end up being lazy and renting/buying it.

Hehe...one good thing about having overtly christian movies...discounted tickets from christian bookstores.

I guess movie tickets where I live now are around $9 a ticket or something...so I heard.

I saw an ad in a christian magazine and it said "from best-selling christian author Ted Dekker." It annoyed me that they felt they had to point out that he writes specifically in the christian genre. Why did they need to point this out? If he is such a good writer (which I think he is), what does it matter if it's christian or not?
Besides, it was in a christian magazine. Duh people. duh.

I might actually try and go see this on my day off this weekend, especially since I can get discounted tickets. i know, I'm lame. :)

I saw it last Sunday and I really liked it. I thought that they did a good job adapting the book into a film. even my mom liked it, and she hadn't read the book before! (although she did know some of the story from me telling her about it)

It really just looked like another slasher flick with a Secret Window twist of lemon to it, so so far I'm not too enthralled about it.

Certainly not my idea of a Christian work! No desire to read the book or see this film! :(

I finally got the book the other day. Haven't started reading it, but I definitely want to before I watch the movie.

Always interested in where christian media goes when it comes to the horror genre.

It's not really HORROR. I'd say way more suspense. It just looked spooky in the trailer to get more people to see it, I'm sure. It is one of my favorite books, so I'll check it out on video, since I just saw this post now and I don't see it in the theaters any more. I suggest you see it if you can handle suspense type movies.
