So what exactly do you believe concerning the rapture?
If you're asking me...

I believe it happens after the rapture, when Jesus returns in glory. The rapture is portrayed in scripture as a welcome procession for a conqeuror and king. The people of God are gathered together to welcome Jesus and join the victory procession that escorts him to earth.

I'll just worry about my personal life and how I am doing God's Will, instead of worrying of when Jesus will come back. So I'll just keep fliping the channels with a smirk every time I hear a preacher mention the End Times. :)

The false doctrine of amillennialism (which catholicism and various other denominations embrace) is the king with respect to taking scripture out of its context..
Funny, I thunk that title was held by the False Doctrine of Dispensationalism.

The "the False Doctrine of..." schtick is a game any number can play. Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Revelation 20 pertains to the things which shall be hereafter.. NOT to the things which are..
"Are" when? "Hereafter" what? Some arbitrary point that dispensationalists assume hasn't arrived yet? Convenient...

The very context of Revelation 20 is future.. not present..
"Future" would include any time after St. John was given the revelation, would it not?
