We have roses similar to yours. Yours are gorgeous.

I ain't afraid o no snakes, though. But it's easier to not be afraid here, cuz there's none that are poisonous. The garter snakes and little ring snakes might gum you a little, but that's about it.
There's also some good flowers to put in the vegetable garden to assist in repelling bugs, marigolds, for one.

Thank you brother. We have those copperheads and rattlesnakes and cottonmouths and just thinking of them makes me want to put my feet on the desktop lol. I spend a lot of time outdoors and so I have to contend with such things. I surround my garden with Marigolds pretty much every year, They stink but sure are pretty :]

Nice flowers! But, hmmm, there's something missing. Oh yes. There are no LILACS! What gives? lol But I have a red hummingbird feeder just like yours. Which reminds me, it's time to get to filling them up!

Garter snakes and king snakes are fine. It's those PI..SON ones that I don't like.

Oh, sorry! Must've missed it. Naaah... you can keep them. I'll just stick with the itty bitty mice eaters here. Besides, the poisonous ones probably wouldn't be able to handle the cool weather we get.

lol. I love lilacs and mine always smell real pretty when they are in bloom, They are one of my favorites :]

I’ve got chipmunks, rabbits, deer and hawks that frequent my yard. I love them all. My cats would love to catch them all...Glory be to God.
