These are great. Something about the way these sit on top of the yupo brings out the transparency even more than regular water color paper.

In the sketchbook thread you mentioned you did these on location. Is there a story to what these paths are for?

Thank you sir. These were just paths from the parking lot to the public beach. However these beaches used to be military bases in WWII and they still have the concrete submarine spotting towers all up and down the Delaware coast and a massive partially underground fort (Fort Miles) at the mouth of the bay. Many probably don't know but there were German submarines on the coast. There are still submerged mines in the Delaware bay that could be released to float up and explode underneath enemy ships if needed. The concern was that the subs could go up the Delaware bay and attack Wilmington and Philadelphia. One sub surrendered at Fort Miles TWO SUBMARINES BROUGHT WWII TO DELAWARE
