i started a prayer thread for you on the Deeper fellowship board. You might want to check it out. i was worried about you when i found your old thread closed. I am praying for you and hope and expect this thread will flurish. My problem is i am not sensetive enough. I want to be aware of people's problems and help them whenever i can.

I feel I am over sensitive. Silly things like if people stop talking when I come in the room, I can't help think they were talking about me- like I'm so importantthat's all they have to talk about. I see plots and plans in people's behaviour. I always think there is an ulterior motive to people's kindness.

GIRL do not feel bad about that. IT IS ACCUALLY a wonderful gift from the LORD about what you have. I am JUST as senstive as you are. MY counselor is DOING EVERYHING that she can to help me with my delicate sensitivity! God bless you and i am VERY blessed to have you in my club!!! I'm still learning how to manage my sensitivities. I am quick to forgive and am a great listener, but when things get emotional I often lose myself and try to "rush to the rescue" without thinking or get my feelings hurt and say things I don't mean. I think my sensitivities are a blessing. I just need to work on not running away with them when they kick in when cooler heads should prevail. I've made good progress on this over the years and hope to continue. : )
If you are sensitive you are not a freak or abnormal!

I am very glad that you desided to come here as well. WE ALL will have a wonderful time sharing stories and getting to know all of you more. Sensitivity IS AWESOME...BUT always must look at it as a GIFT from the AWESOME ONE Jesus. HEy I Know that it can be hard but He wants us ALL to glorfy him with our lovely gifts.

Rusti you sound JUST like me!!!! I too am seeing a counselor to straighten this out. WELL my sensitivity and letting things get to me so much. SHE IS REALLY trying to help! God bless you dear friend and WELCOME!

Hi all. I can be sensitive at times (even though I'm a man), I'm also quite sensitive to how other people feel.

Cool. Thanx. Don't worry, I'll keep the peace. I hate arguing and stuff. I used to argue a lot with my father when I was a kid, which caused me to rebel against his authority and get into all kinds of sin. So now I really hate confrontation.

I consider myself over sensitive- like faithhopeandlove, I often feel that everyone is talking about me-- I have come to see that as quite prideful though. I also get annoyed when I feel people are using me. But then a friend pointed out to me that I am very bad at asking for help when I need it- so I don't give other people much of a chance.

When I was at university, I asked my best friend why no one ever chatted with me when we were out- she told me that my face said 'stay away- dont talk to me!' It's like I went around with a big sign hanging round my neck.

Pride used to be a big problem for me- it stopped me letting people in, and made me take offence whenever people tried to help me out of my difficulties.

I can get over sensitive when people say things about me often but when it's talking to someone else I often say blunt things that hurt their feelings, this is because of the Asperger's syndrome, why I can't get a girlfriend, what is your problem marmalade girl why you can't get a guy?
