My heart goes out to the people posting here, but at the same time I think it's pretty ignorant to be starting a CLUB for sensitive people. I'm sensitive myself, and that is NOT what God is going for. There is a difference between being loving and having healthy spiritual emotions, and living in your sentimentality and letting it control you. That is certainly not what the Lord wants for you.

Seek wisdom from awesome men and women of God, who can see with a clear mind the situation and speak from God about it. It is not the best idea to be asking other people who have the same problem as you and are stuck in it, for advice about the situation. They can only keep you down, because they obviously have not found the answer either, so why are you asking them?

Love you girls...

this club has been very helpful to those on here. WE ARE HERE to lift the spirites up of those who are feeling blue. BEING SENSITIVE IS A GOD GIVEN TRIAT. If I was not sensitive I would NOT be here at this job that I have today. MY BOSSES WIFE told me that I am REALLY kind to all the customers in the office AS WELL as the co-workers. PLEASE do not discurage this club we do not need it.
AND some memeber here are men!:) PEACE!

I think that sensitivity is a gift from God. If everyone was a teacher, or was gifted in wisdom then who would be there to have great empathy for those in the body who are sad and greiving? Being a sensitive soul isn't always to be looked down upon, and having a support group for those who are sensitive isn't ignorant, if anything ignorance is projecting your opinions, or speaking on God's behalf of what he is, or is not "going for." If you know God's plan for YOUR life then that's great, but what makes you think that you know what God wants for everyone else's life?

"That is certainly not what the Lord wants for you." I agree with you if you're saying that God doesn't want us to be depressed, or unhappy with life, but nowhere in the Word does God say that we should withold sentiment. Did God tell you what He wants for my life? for everyone else's life? If so then you surely must be a prophet, if not then please keep your negativity to yourself. The people on this thread didn't come here for you to tell them that they are not seeking God's will. If they're in the word, and in relationship with Him then I'm sure that God will let them know where they need to be in life.

If some people here have true depression, or a chemical imbalance then we all should be praying that God will lead them to happiness and stability, but sentiment, it's a gift.

I understand that from your perspective it may be hard to understand where these people are at, and certainly none of us want a brother or a sister to be depressed, sad, etc, but sometimes in the big picture of God's plan, the Lord must lead us to sorrow, or sensitive feelings to strengthen us in the end.

I once heard the story of a Chinese proverb which says something like:

A person with one friend is happy
A person with two friends is blessed
A person with more than three friends should be worried- they probably aren't all true friends.

It's not to do with quantity. It's to do with quality. I have two friends who I know I could phone at 3am with an emergency. That's deep friendship.

I am soooo glad you shared that with us  That's a great proverb! I feel better after reading it....

I though I would come here this morning and share with you a blessing the Lord has brought into my life. We have just started a little worship group at church, for years I have wanted to play with a group of people, and it is just so lovely. We are not that good yet- only two practices, and it would be really easy to get disheartened with that, but we are having fun, which is really important. Also, I am about to start to learn Bass Guitar. which I have always wanted to do.
