Dear gladyys. Yes, we should never run ahead of the Lord, always follow Him.But in the mean-time we could do, what Jesus told us in Matthew, chapter 22, verses 35-40: " Love God with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our minds. Also: Love our neighbour as ourselves." A very good way is: to treat all we know and all we meet, as we would love to be treated. God will see our sincere efforts, and God will bless us. Why?? We are following God`s Commandments to love.
Jesus will give us His Love and Joy, and the Holy Spirit will give us His Love, also. Jesus told us to: " Ask and ye will receive," then we share all Love and Joy with all around us. We might stumble and forget, but then we ask God to forgive us, and God will forgive us, as we will forgive others. God will be using us to love and to care, and God will lead us where we can be His hands and feet. We are God`s only representatives in this imperfect world, and people will notice and maybe?? join us.
