Life isn't fair. AV, you really should have learnt that by this time. Nothing in life is fair. Your religion is an attempt to keep the illusion of fairness alive. Reality isn't like religion, it's more like the proverbial bucket of cold water in the face.

It's not faiiiiiiiiiir. Get over that one and you'll be halfway to being an adult.

I think this is the "bottom line" with most religionists, ... "it won't be fair."

We all have a sense of justice, and we can't stand when we've been wronged by another, or when we see injustices occur, religionists take it one step further however, and truly believe there will be some cosmic justice when they die. This statement, IMHO, is what motivates many to be religious.

I've always been curious about how people think they know. Specially when I've met Christians and non-Christians who have told me things like:
"I thought I was saved, but I didn't really know Jesus until..." or "I used to say I was saved but I just thought I knew."

Would you think it's fair if God was all-loving, in a real non-Christian way? Would it be fair to you if heaven was a place where even atheists, agnostics, Hindus, rapists, murderers, and blasphemers all existed for all eternity in happiness?
