I don't recall anyone discussing the annual sabbaths of the feasts - only the weekly sabbath and in one or two places how it contrasts against God's "My rest" that is permanent.

I think this thread should have been started on the 4th of JulyWow! This has been a firecracker of a thread. Hopefully now that all the flash and noise is over it will die out just as quickly.
It is truly absurd to expect any Christian here at CF to accept the Gospel of Thomas as anything other than what it is - a non-canonical Gnostic writing that God Himself rejected through His Church.
Thus, the foundation for this thread is hopelessly doomed to failure. As I stated early in this thread 2010 is off to an amazingly absurd and silly start here.
