Peace in Christ.

Our God gives us victory over death….over the grave….through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our active faith in Him shall bring life to our mortal bodies so that we may continue to mortally live to the end of this age (having an "age-lasting" or eternal life) where at the “last trump” moment our mortal (subject to death…but haven’t perished) bodies will be “changed” to immortal. The just shall live by faith….unto the “moment” of that change over from mortal to immortal.

1Co 15:52-53 KJV
(52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

But where is this promised age-lasting life? Where is the promise of His coming? The promise is "eternal life"...an age-lasting life.

It hasn’t been manifest yet because of the many false prophets who have not been preaching the gospel (good news) of our mortal salvation with any understanding. They hold down the Truth in their unrighteousness. They are suppressing the manifestation of the life of Jesus in the mortal flesh of those who are listening to them.

They do not understand the gospel nor are they preaching it so we can believe in it. The “word of men” does not rescue us from this present evil age….only the faith in the hearing of the Word of Truth spoken in Christ does.

The false prophets can’t understand the good news of our mortal salvation because they are only minding earthly things (what to wear, what to eat, what to drink). They only preach for their earthly necessities (and then some).

1Co 15:55-58 KJV
(55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Those who perish from this earth are met with a “sting”…the realization that they have perished because of the sin. They have completely missed the point of the gospel as they were never were given the truth of it. They have been “bitten” by the deceitful preaching of earthly-minded men which leads them to their mortal death. It is a "sting" indeed.

Men have been preaching deceit and have led many astray from the way of righteousness and down the broad way to their mortal destruction. “Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips”. If we listen to false prophets and follow their ways, we will mortally perish along with them as their end is destruction….mortal destruction.

(56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
(57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

We must come out from among their “churches” and be separate…or we mortally perish with them. The churches of men will not believe in the Word of Truth when they will hear it. This is the “holy” (meaning “separate or to be apart”) commandment we are to hear and do and not turn away from.

2Co 6:15-17 KJV
(15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
(16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

The Father has given us a commandment….the holy commandment…to “arise, and go” from here.....and so we must do it. We show them that we love the Father by doing so.

Joh 14:30-31 KJV
(30) Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
(31) But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

This is the “holy commandment” that is delivered to us….to be separate from them. Let us not turn away from it.

2Pe 2:20-21 KJV
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Let us hear the Word of Truth….the good news of our mortal salvation. We shall continue to mortally live in this earth until all things are gathered together in one in Christ. We shall continue to mortally live until the "dispensation of the fullness of times".....which is at the end of this current evil age. This is the inheritance we obtain.

How can we help gather together all things in Christ in this earth if we perish from it?

Eph 1:9-14 KJV
(9) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
(10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance,
being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

We shall continue to mortally live until the redemption of the purchased possession….our mortal bodies shall be redeemed: be changed to immortal. Our bodies shall be fashioned like unto His at the “last trump”. This is the moment of the redemption of the purchased possession....our mortal bodies being made immortal.

(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

We are to believe in the good news of our mortal salvation…being steadfast and unmoveable…always abounding in our “labor” for it is not in vain . An age-lasting life is to be had by the patient continuance in well doing by those who seek for glory and honor and immortality.

Rom 2:7 KJV
(7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Our Savior Jesus Christ has “abolished” death. He has rendered it idle NOW in this earth….and has brought to light life and immortality. This is a NOW thing. “Eternal life” is NOW. Salvation is NOW.

2Ti 1:10 KJV
(10) But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

The body is dead because of the sin….but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

If we live after the Spirit (always sowing after the Spirit), then the Spirit shall give our mortal (subject to death) bodies life…..the age-lasting life. If through the Spirit we slay the deeds of the body, we shall live…..live an age-lasting life unto the “moment” of our change over to immortal.

Rom 8:10-13 KJV
(10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
