In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How many of you are in your third trimester?? well I'm 31 weeks pregnant, and I've been having horrible back pains.. rib pains, which the doctor said it was from SNEEZINg and coughing and using that side of my body alot..

I think I can now say I'm tired of being pregnant.. haha

I'm ready for this baby to come out.. and I'm tired of peeing all the time, by the time I get there, its a few drops.. mind as well of stayed in the bed! LOL.

Oh and yeah a question? How many of you have had their baby weighed?? I think they'll weigh him when I'm around 35 or so weeks, just wondering?

I'm 31 weeks tomorrow. I've had the easiest pregnancy so far but when I hit the third trimester it got a little tough. I never had morning sickness as far as throwing up but I just felt yucky and that has come back a bit but not as bad. My main complaint is sleeping, I don't mind getting up 3-4 times to go to the bathroom, it's my hips that bother me. I have to have them propped up under pillows just right otherwise they kill me.

I'm having a 34 week sono to give my doctor an idea of how big my baby is and might be because I'm so petite I may have to have a C-section. I won't know for several weeks though. I'm just glad I hadn't gained anything at my last appointment, I always dread getting on that scale lol.

I just hit 32 weeks today (Sunday). Flaming snot it seems like just yesterday I was falling over in the bathroom in shock of a positive pregnancy test! I've only had some minor back pain lately so I guess I'm pretty lucky in that regard. An online friend of mine who had her baby in April asked how big my tummy was. I told her it wasn't one of those cute little round pregnant tummies you always see, more like a deflated watermellon :D Guess it's cause of the longer torso, more room to spread out.
I've also noticed I've stopped sitting up anymore after laying on the couch watching TV or in bed. I just roll.

Hadn't heard of weighing the baby yet  Guess I need to make another appointment. After I cancelled the last one, they didn't reschedual or anything. Also on my list of things to do: tour the birthing center and the hospital where I'd been going for my OB/GYN stuffs.

I'm 34 weeks, and pretty much ready for the baby to come at this point. :) Well, except for the whole getting the house ready thing...I'm not on the ball with that as much this time around. My back is not too bad most of the time, unless my 19-month-old daughter wants to be held (which is often, as she's working on getting a molar).

I'm pretty much tired of being pregnant. My clothes don't fit right, but getting new, bigger clothes this late in the game seems ridiculous. Also we went to the bookstore the other day and I always take the stairs to the 2nd floor but I took one look at them and went  and got on the elevator. So that's another thing I'm looking forward to putting behind me...feeling slow and awkward.

I never had my baby "weighed" last time as far as I know...my midwives did do estimates just based on squishing my tummy. I think they guessed 8 lbs. at 39 weeks, or something? And she ended up being born at 41 weeks + 2 days, 8 lbs. 13 oz.

I was told the same thing, he was almost a pound under their estimate. They couldn't get a good measurement because according to the tech I was all baby.

Will it be a planned C-Section? If so how early will they take the baby?

I'm pretty sure it will be planned and I would prefer it that way. We haven't discussed that just yet, I'm sure we will after she sees the sono results.

Planned is much better than how I almost had one.

I can't believe you are that far along already! Wasn't it just yesterday you were saying you were pregnant?

Yeah I'm pretty sure she's going to know almost for certain whether I will have to have a C-section or not. I don't want to be induced and would prefer to have a C if induction becomes an option as well because I'm afraid of the complications that might cause me to have a C if I were induced.

I know! I can't believe I'm this far already either! Sometimes I think it's gone by far to fast but most times I'm ready to see my baby boy! Especially days like today when he's squirming pushing against my belly. I'm afraid it won't be long before he runs out of room in there ^_^.

I am thirty weeks and I am SO ready for this to be over! The back pain, the hip pain, the difficulty breathing...it is all really getting to me. Plus I move like I am eighty!!! I am getting to the stage where I am not bored with it, I am not excited about it...I am scared. So all these thoughts of complications are running through my head faster than I can process them! I have no idea what to expect or when to expect it and that scares me!

So who else feels like you're running out of room in there for baby? It seems like this happened overnight! Today I have felt his every squirm and it feels like he's up in my ribs all the way down to my pelvis area. My ribs are killing me today, it's almost making my stomach hurt. :(

Hi Jessesgirl! I feel almost the same WAY! I'm getting anxious now, and now that the baby is due January 6th, I'm thinking about after the baby is born, and how hard it is going to be.. and how our lives will COMPLETELY change. I'm so excited though, I want to see my baby.. and I can only imagine how i'll feel when I see the baby that we made together.. aww that makes me kinda tear up LOL. I've also been a little emotional lately.. AND TIREDDD

man.. i'm sooo tired, all I want to do is sleep now, and I hate having to roll out of bed.. the only way i can get to sleep is tossing and turning until i get comfortable enough to sleep, and one side of my ribs are sore right now, so everytime i want to switch sides it hurts like crazy.

My boobs are another subject.. they've gotten SOOO HUGE, I mean literally.. haha. Everyone I see, they're like, GIRL you look swoll LOL! I think I'm going to breastfeed, but im not sure.

It must be normal to get all scared/anxious when it's this close to being born. I dunno about you guys but for me, time has really flown too fast! They say things really slow down your last couple months and I'm hoping that's the case cause so far it seems like it's been one short downhill ride! I am looking foreward to having a purpose in life.. I dunno, kinda hard to explain. Before I got pregnant, it seemed like I was drifting without a real calling.

And I'm in the big boobs boat as well. Mine were already big enough to be annoying but now I can't look in the mirror anymore without thinking I wouldn't miss them if they were gone :D I'll be breastfeeding~ If for no other reason than to make them earn their keep for hassling me all these years!

Oh and I miss pants not falling down.

I dunno-- my whole theory is to keep the baby in there as long as possible :) For me it's much harder once they come out- I know exactly how little sleep I will get, how much harder it is to do anything than while being pregnant--even just going to the bathroom. I know that it is just a whole new set of aches and pains--but while having to tend to a little helpless being....

I would seriously, seriously take with an ENORMOUS grain of salt any weight estimates they give you about weight via sonogram- they have a margin of error of about 2 POUNDS !

I am petite and have never had any issues having a baby- and have had little ones and big nine pounders. Mommy's bones move and baby's bones move- unless there is a malformation of the pelvis - maternal size should in no way dictate whether or not a woman can have a vaginal delivery. The baby's presentation might be wierd- but there is no way to know that, unless it is a very abnormal presentation. And remember that being upright for second stage increases the diameter of the pelvis by20% - as opposed to lying flat on your back. :)

I've been moderately uncomfortable lately. I told mom I feel like a backwards turtle. I also get stuck laying down alot ^_^ I guess it doesn't help to have a waterbed. My cat just laughs at me as I wallow around in it.
We went to see the lawyer this morning to see about getting child support rolling. That was a little depressing for some reason. He kept asking me questions about my tadpole's daddy that I didn't know the answers too and I just ended up leaving feeling stupid. :sigh: So by the time we got home, my hormones were like floppy noodles. A 4-hour nap helped a bit.
Oh and yes to the bathroom breaks! I get myself into these endless cycles of getting something to drink then having to go to the bathroom then deciding I'm thirsty on the way out of the bathroom. Rinse and repeat! I'll do it all day if I'm at home that long!

I'm almost 30 weeks and feeling fairly good atm! I had a week as soon as I hit 3rd trimester when I was thinking, "dang... NOW I remember why they call the 2nd trimester the 'dream trimester'!"

But bubs hasn't been bouncing in the middle of the night QUITE so much, and the reflux has settled down again, and the sore muscles are stretched out for now... ahhhhh. But the swelling in my feet and lower legs is starting with a vengeance :(
